You killed it with this video. I couldn’t agree more , this was the first full season I watched and what made it so entertaining not only the lineup but how close the points were with the way it was structured. I always will remember sitting in front of my parents room box tv to wait for the next episode of racing and freestyle. (Didn’t know people post footage of the events those days) 😂 2015 will forever be iconic and I’m glad I got to witness a 2016 show with mostly the same talent from this year. Beautiful video Mr MonsterTalk 😎
Wayne is it true u have a ROMJ Custom that is Pizza themed because I found ur name on it? Its on a om2.1
I always thought people forget the 2015 season exists
If I’m honest, we need 16 lineups back
Agreed
16 is the best in bracket-fields!
I know
I don’t think we can with the limited amount of drivers we have
Your forgetting the arena drivers, Zack garner and Jon zimmer Jr deserve a spot in the stadium series
To be honest 2008 to 2015 we're the golden years of monster jam
Say it louder for the people in the back lol
I agree
I loved this series. Scoring wasn't the best in some cases, but the officials weren't trigger happy with the R.I.I., and of course Scott Douglass and Frank Krmel's commentary was awesome. They also had unique tracks that sparked some crazy action. I would love for a points series like this to start again.
Although I will say I think it’s better with the points we have now, because like this type of points wouldn’t be as interesting as you think because of how good the drivers are nowadays like Tyler Menninga and Ryan Anderson
@miketrapper0464 The problem with the points today is there is a lot of bias with the fans' favorite trucks. I think it would be better if they went back to the professional judging where the highest possible score is 45, 6 judges, throwing out the highest and lowest score, and adding in the bonus score. Dustin Brown drove Monster Mutt. A truck that while being popular; is nowhere near as popular as Grave Digger or Max-D, but he won several freestyles due to his performances; not fan bias. Now that being said sometimes during this series someone would do a good freestyle and have an insanely high score or a great run but a pretty low score. This happens today as well with the fan judging, but much worse.

@@RDCNATION this doesn’t say anything about the points, just about fan judging, which I completely disagree with nowadays, there are rarely any wrong winners in any events now and most of the times it’s always the right winners and right placements for others
@@miketrapper0464 I completely misunderstood what you were talking about. Now that I know what you're talking about, I agree. The points system in the 2015 FS1 series worked really well. Now it's weird how drivers accumulate points during events to win the overall event championship, instead of the winners of racing or freestyle getting a trophy for it. The 2015 points system was so competitive and it kept tensions high for each event. Now you're right with fan judging, but at World Finals 22 Colt Stephens won freestyle when I think Cole Venard had a little better and crazier run. But that wasn't aggravating like World Finals 20 where Linsey Read did a cartwheel save and won, when several better runs could've won.
@@RDCNATION to me this points system nowadays wouldn’t work because there are obviously like a few drivers who are too good, that will make the rest not get a single point, and also I don’t agree with Cole venard being the correct winner, I gotta be honest he to me doesn’t deserve it while colt stephens absolutely earned the freestyle championship , colt had the momentum and the wow factor while Cole only had momentum, but even then it was only at the very end, he didn’t do much and even slowed down and backed up multiple times while colt kept going and kept good consistent air and the giant leap and two wild backflips
2015 championship season was absolutely incredible love Houston and Anaheim shows
I love when they have different courses at each show. Keeps the drivers on their toes.
yeah, it's unwatchably boring now having everything look the same and not even break down over the course of the show. completely generic every time
@@ram_s_d27I mean of course it would be to the people who watch every show but not to people who don’t know what they actually get
Still for sure would love to see different tracks at each different event, it always is cool
This is one of my most childhood monster jam championship series of 2015 and i used to watching this in Puerto Rico 🥺
Everyday after school I would go turn on my TV and watch this back in 2015 so nostalgic 😢
Great Video!
The feel of 2015 and 2016 is very underrated, it was great
i enjoyed this series seeing thunder 4x4 bad news travels fast and monster mutt's new look
Im going to honest i wish monster jam 2015 was on dvd again i like monster to 1992 to early 2017
so you just gonna bring back all that nostalgia, huh?
We need obstacle course and 16 truck lineups back in stadiums ASAP!!! Great video guys!!!
8:05 Most likely because it's Todd LeDuc, the defending freestyle champion
Ah, The FS1-Era. One of my favorite eras of Monster Jam. You gotta admit the quality and momentum was top-notch! Plus. 2015 was the year of the new addition to the World Finals: Clones of Grave Digger, Max-D in the main field.
Hey, MonsterTalk. Ever thought of making a video about the decline of Monster Jam and its Modern-era?
Where could I watch the actual broadcasts for free
@@miketrapper0464 Five dollars a month isn’t bad for 400 episodes of monster jam in my opinion
@@stevendudley5687 where tho
Still don’t understand why they took this point format out because this created tension and meaning for drivers earning critical points. I liked it when every point mattered and were harder to get.
He explained it very clearly, 2016 Adam Anderson was dominating the series so much so that some people thought it got boring because he is too good, and as we see not many people got a single point like Jim Koehler
The Straitjacket TikTok joke had me dying 😂
Looking back at the 2015 FS1 Championship Series, wish I went to the first Houston show instead of the third show because the first show was the first round of the FS1 Championship and it had a lot to offer with the main events and intermission events.
I also thought the other 9 trucks in the Houston round were part of the Championship, but just imagine the madness if the championship featured 25 trucks instead of 16...
I remember keeping up with this series on fs1, and amazingly they released the coverage one week after each show, which was way better then the usual few months later that we normal get from tv coverage of monster jam, i even went to the final stop at syracuse and also predicted bari taking the racing win, he was fast in obstacle courses but never quite good at qualifying so i knew if he got a good qualifying run he would be a tough competitor in racing.
P.S you forgot to mention the streeker running across the track in atlanta after eliots run
anyone else notice the FS1 graphic for St Louis said Edward Jones Done instead of Dome?
Love this video!!! I always learn more & more after watching these videos!!!
This season was very interesting i must say, from the lineup to the very odd style of
Tracks... I personally think they werent the worst tracks but also not the best tracks...
They were very good tracks in like from 2000 - 2010, or so but 2015 - 2016/17 and then after that
I feel like monster jam made so many changes the next couple years to were it feels so different from those 2 times, (2000-2010/2016-2017)
AND 25:34 OMG
The part with the wrecking crew truck when you were using clanging sounds from all I want for Christmas is you is funny 🤣
Can you give me that footage so I can keep laughing at it
I love your channel! Keep the good job man
I love 2015! I literally have almost all the 2015 fs1 series episodes on Speed Canada/Fox Sports Racing
Want to share them to my Google drive?
I have all of them on internet archive if you want to search the episodes up on there!
16 truck lineups was memorable
This was a great season
There was also a fill in driver at Anaheim
Breaking news Morris caused a murder via laughing to death 😂😂 but great vid man for my favorite Aussie man
We need old monster jam again
It’s crazy to thing this was almost 9 years ago
25:40 let him cook
9:26 wtf monstertalk that is hilarious 😂
This was a really good season!
Before I even watch the video, I'll 100% agree. WHY? because this was actually series was actually competitive. (unlike 2016) There was drama, action, and fun, heck I think the 2015 season was one of the most underrated, and could've been the best if they had gotten the right winner for world finals
Can u make a 2016Version of the Fs1Seires vid?
That jump with tires in it is an 8 pack back flip ramp bro.....
Krazy train and Aftershock are in the MTD game. Its really good too. You shoild do a video playing it
The first time I went to monster jam was 2015 and they did score fairly tho but now they score strange
⚠️ Flashing lights/loud noises warning!
I wish they would allow trucks to continue during freestyle when breaking a tie rod or losing a wheel like they used to 2015 and 2016 were the last years they let broken trucks continue freestyle
I will say I understand why they stop the trucks nowadays, I don’t even think it’s for “safety” it’s just very costly to repair, like for example the recent accident where 2 trucks caught on fire, they said it would cost 1 million dollars to repair everything, and especially after the pandemic, money was a struggle for big sports companies and I assume that for monster jam, it took a big toll out of them
How can I watch these shows in the full length?
Are BKT's mandatory in Monster Jam.
Where can I watch it
How do you watch it
Would? I don’t think so! Bari’s been in zombie long enough that I already know people will want bari back in zombie
I mean Bari still will be in it but he is cool in black panther
2015 was at their prime
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I can't stop laughing 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is my 5th time watching this video
Holy fuck
Oh yeah true story, i went to the show at phoenix that year
Where do you watch it
Monster jam channel membership
@@Spaceisfacethat sucks that you have to pay but then again I payed for the subscription for a little bit
19:04 😂
Think you could do like a full Monster Jam season recap of a memorable year? Kind of like how Monster Jam did in 2005 and 2006?
Hmmm that's a good idea 🤔

wtf i was never told about this
while it was very entertaining I kinda wish they never got rid of camoers, buses, and cars. Now Monster Jam is just safety this safety that. You can't drive it out if your truck is damaged until its ruined, they just shutoff your truck now.
I wouldn’t say it’s because of safety, I definitely think it is to save money, because it can cost a bunch to repair some trucks, especially when there are shows where it isn’t a sold out crowd
