It's easier to see what he's doing when he plays full speed. Just keep a ghost note going so you can jump back in if you lose a note.

Wow. It's so much fun once you notice that your hands and ears are faster than your brain :D

Dont buy offline seek out a teacher who can point you to someone as there are lots of them online that arent good quality.. they arent cheap either about 1300 GBP in uk depends where your from but if it's cheap it wont be good, get a teacher to help you get one or see if you can rent one for a bit 😁✌

Also, practicing on an Amara D Handpan and a, finding that it doesn’t yield the same beautiful sounds from the chord set of that from the teacher here. What chord set is the Handpan in the video?

Hey David, Excellent tutorial videos! I don’t have a hand pan but I have a tank drum. So I was wondering if the course would be useful in learning the tank drum as well? Thanks

Hey ! these lessons were originally designed for handpan. However, it is possible to adapt the lessons for tongue drum. The only essential requirement is a central note on the top (commonly called the "ding" on a handpan). Many MasterTheHandpan students follow the lessons with their tongue drum and find much enjoyment.
So I would say : try the free course (link in the description of the video) and see for yourself if it's a fit for you :)

Hi, I’m going to buy a handpan, but I’m a bit confused. They come in many different sizes with a variety of note numbers; some are 9-note and some are 14-note and some are 53-note! Can you guide me as to which to buy to have for some time as a beginner?
