It's easier to see what he's doing when he plays full speed. Just keep a ghost note going so you can jump back in if you lose a note.

This is amazing! I'm a beginner and never really played an instrument before but this tutorial was so clear and perfect to follow along that I could play in full speed and kind of automatically within about 40 minutes. Wow. It's so much fun once you notice that your hands and ears are faster than your brain :D

Just started checking out your videos and you do a really good job explaining everything. Sorry if you have already answered this somewhere, but what type of handpan are you using in the video?

Hi @David, great tutorial. What is the importance of ghost notes? As a beginner, I find it difficult to include a “silent” ghost note followed by a “loud” real note esp while playing fast. Any advise would be super helpful. Thanks!

It,s like the way you are yourself: Sometimes quiet, sometimes easy to hear. Yin and yang creates harmony.

May i ask. Im a guitarist and a pianist trying to learn how to play correctly the handpan. when i try to play I do realize that my left hand is a bit weak and sloppy (not used to these kind of hand movements) How can I work on that properly?

Hi, I’m going to buy a handpan, but I’m a bit confused. They come in many different sizes with a variety of note numbers; some are 9-note and some are 14-note and some are 53-note! Can you guide me as to which to buy to have for some time as a beginner?
