Can you make a guide on dealing with the “z rank vanish meta” ? I’m a Z & while I deal with it, sometimes I just be too tired lmao so I’m wondering if there’s a more simple way to deal with it
If you vanish with them and hold back and stop swinging you vanish outside the step in zone then while they swinging at air you can dragon dash up out of their view and either charge or dash back in with a heavy ki charge to knock them back. That's what I normally do. If they side stepping back and forth alot you can hold a semi heavy hit and it will lock on them and stun them then you can combo 👊
Man all the cheese on top of op characters got me stuck at A1. Be getting so close to S5 then here come some mui or beast Constantly vanishing and perception. Idk if it’s worth my sanity to get to Z with this game’s current state. We’ll see though.

He does expose flaws in the game’s combat design is how I take the main point. They tried to balance all of the specials, defense mechanics, and hand-to-hand mechanics all together in one system and people are capable of abusing all of them. Like mentioning how people have won matches blind-folded with MUI Goku-because he plays more than half the game for you. This all exposes that they made some characters way too abusable and too casual-friendly that it makes no sense to have Ranked and Leaderboards in the first place unless it’s properly balanced aside from the more casual side of the game. People that barely know the game mechanics are in top ranks, which I can’t think of any fighting game right now where that’s a thing. Arguably, he tries to play the game the way it’s meant to be played VS. people who have the “Anything to Win” mentality. Not just charging Ki, throwing beams and supers back and forth because that looks bad on the game.
@NotGettinHatch the only (sort of) exploit xenoverse 2 had in terms of movement was Ki Blast Cancelling. In my opinion Ki cancelling was harmless and it was just a way to make slow characters more viable, anyone who complains about it extensively is a bot. There's way bigger issues in xv2.
