    I improved it a little. The main improvements are Fighters and Ram attack.
    6 modshards are common, but 2L + 4 mods is easier against Hydra I think.

    so basically this tactic is suitable for speedrun and must be speedrun cuz 35 sec limit. This is cool. I love it

    • @coolingfan
      @coolingfan ปีที่แล้ว

      and i hve question, sleep phase tactic is only possible after second heart down? is this same to all intercepter variant?

    • @coolingfan
      @coolingfan ปีที่แล้ว

      and what happen if you didn't destroy heart after 35sec gone, but remain heat uner 20%. thargoid still can't lock you?

      @@coolingfan Basically yes, because they(all variant) try to shoot lightning after the first heart break even if you keep cold. (However, if you destroy the second heart after destroying the first heart and before the shield is deployed, the lightning will be canceled, so it can be said that the sleep phase tactics (like stun lock or cold reboot) is practically possible from the beginning only in this case. It can be done solo against a basilisk (of cause it's difficult because very little time to spare))

      @@coolingfan After 35 seconds the Thargoid will be able to attack you. In other words, they start to act normally. Even after 35 seconds, if you can destroy next heart and keep cold, you can return to stunlock, of course.

    Amazing. Is it possible to kill a hydra without it being stun-locked in this conda?

    • @nagasan4059
      @nagasan4059  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      First of all, I myself ride FDL most of the time when I don't use Stunlock, so I have never challenged Hydra without using Stunlock at all in this Conda.
      However, I can say it's possible, because there are CMDR who defeated Hydra with T-9 (before there were modshards and sirius heatsinks), and Conda should be easier than T-9, don't you think so?
      Well, in this case I think it would be easier to fight normally with a medium ship...

      どうも〜
      そうですね、確かにちょっとマイナーな攻略法です(Stunlockという戦術ですが調べてもほぼ情報出てきません、Hydraが動かない原理はSleep Phaseについて調べると分かります)。
      Thargoidのギミック、メカニズムの穴を突く方法になるんで、当然それらへの理解が要求されます。ただ見ての通りハマれば凶悪な戦術です。

    also 2hy do you use the frag cannon?

    I just need to learn how to do that Stun Lock deal. And what do you mean please when you say LL +4 mods? I understand the mods but what is the LL? I can always go buy and outfit another Anaconda (I currently have 3. 1 for PvE, 1 for exploring and mining, one for AX) . Are guardian SLF's required or will a regular SLF do the job?

    • @nagasan4059
      @nagasan4059  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ah, it may have been difficult to understand the expression. I'll fix that later...
      LL means 2 large shards.
      Since the SLF is a decoy, I think the taipans are good because they are sturdy.

    • @nagasan4059
      @nagasan4059  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      OK, then... how to Stanlock tactics. I'm using a translator, so I'm sorry if it's hard to understand.
      After destroying the second heart of any Goid (Cyclops is fine if you just want to learn how it works), get at least 700m away and reduce your heat to less than 15%(or activate Silent Running).
      After that, Goid will stop moving for about 30 seconds (correctly, this phase is 35 seconds after the heart is broken, 39 seconds for Basilisk).
      Then shoot before the time is up. Break the heart, while maintaining low heat or silent running.
      That way you can chain this states. This is called Stanlock.
      Naturally, you're going to hit shields, hulls, and hearts in 29 seconds(Goids takes 6 seconds from heart break to shield deployment so 35-6=29) while maintaining a range of 700m or more, so you'll need a decent amount of firepower (that's why I use Anaconda).

      @@nagasan4059 now to figure out what I'm doing wrong lol. tried a Basilisk. Launched fighter, popped the first heart no problem. kept thermals down no problem. knocked down the shields no problem. and about that time the swarm launched in full on missile mode and proceeded to erase me and the fighter both. give credit where due, it did look neat

    • @nagasan4059
      @nagasan4059  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@draconusspiritus1037 Well, just to confirm, the Basilisk hasn't Enrage (7 minutes after the previous Heart Destruction and all the Swarms are missiles at once) right?
      First of all, it doesn't seem like anything is wrong.
      Now, the truth is, who the missiles go to depends on the mood of the swarms, and there are the case fighter be destroyed in an instant after sortieing. The presence of fighters doesn't necessarily mean that missiles won't come to you at all.
      However, as shown at 2:00 or 3:40 in this video, the missiles sometimes fly toward the fighter. If a missile destroys our armament, it means we lose, so it is useful in the sense that fighters can reduce the possibility of that happening.
      However, like I defeated Hydra without a fighter in other video, you can win without a fighter in the first place. Instead of relying on fighters, you should think of it as something to increase your winning rate.
      Note: This is actually something I don't understand, but I was told by CMDR of a certain strong speedrunner that "releasing the fighter post h1 is a must". (h1 mean first heart so post h1 mean after destroy first heart) According to him, It seems that there is a bug related to Thargoid's targeting, so might be worth trying this.
      By the way, Thargoid shells, swarms, and misiles changed their appearance in update 14 (same time as maelstrom), and now they glow all over.
      The 128 missile's blaze when Hydra enrages is cool, isn't it? Although seeing it means death...
      (As always, sorry if something is wrong with my writing, I'm not used to writing long in English.)

      @@nagasan4059 you're the first that I've been able to understand at all so please just keep translating and I'll thank you very much. So it's either kill the first heart before launching the SLF. Or maybe launch the SLF and start shooting from farther away. Like tap it with the beams or something at 2 Km or even 3 Km. So it launches a swarm in a more relaxed style. Standing orders for the SLF could be a factor as well. Default is DEFEND, where the SLF won't shoot at anything until the mothership is attacked. Do you use Attack Target or Fire At Will?
      Using premium ammo I can erase a Cyclops in a matter of seconds. I would hope doing so would give me a decent chance against a Basilisk.

      if you don't restock ammo, or remove hardpoints. You get to keep premiums forever. Just have to let your ship die to get full ammo again. Roughly 30 mil rebuy not bad. Money is easy to get.

    So the Large Shards are better than size 2 mod shards?

    • @nagasan4059
      @nagasan4059  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Basically, mod is better.
      However, Large one generate less heat and do more damage to shield, so it is sometimes better to mount Large one in limited situations. This video is one such example(6mods build is too hot in this case).
