I've been keeping an almost daily diary for 6 years where I write down everything. I use it to vent about things that make me sad or frustrate me to get it out, but also all positive achievements. My advice is to mark the positive days with a colorful sticker or draw a star where you f. e. went on a walk and saw a cool bird or baked a cake. That way you don't just write down negative things all the time but see the positive days as an achievement and go out of your comfort zone just so you can write that entry that you'll look back on. Now I do things like swim in a cold lake at night wich is very very unpleasant because it's so cold BUT you look back and thing I did it, and when it rained after I was like "this is gonna make a sick entry" and walked in the rain for 2 hours back home lol. It makes you do things that you normally wouldn't. Here are some examples and I live in a city with no friends: You can go to Burger King at 1am and skateboard back home (I can't eben drive in a straight line but it's dark so who cares), you can go to a forest to collect mushrooms, build a forest hut from branches, take a bus to a random field and just watch the bugs, pick a flower bouquet for yourself, sit under a bridge and listen to the spring, play cards with yourself (solitaire), learn to craft stuff like origami or crochet, make little clay figures of your pets, paint your furniture, bake a birthday cake for your pet and eat it yourself, sneak into a movie theater, go to a local concert, talk to strangers on the bus like tell them that their dogs ears look goofy and both have a laugh, set off fireworks in the middle of nowhere, go to a playground at night and go on a swing, get drunk and have a concert at home, do things you would normally do at home in your bed like reading a book but do it outside on a tree or something. The list goes on. Don't let your location or stage in life or mental state define how you can enjoy life. Yes others might be able to do more fun stuff, but they don't appreciate it as much as you do. If there was an amazing red sunset every night, you wouldn't be as amazed as when it only happens twice a year. It will get better and life is just starting for you.

Sometime we forget what truly makes us humans. If you don't have anything worth your while being productive, this is the last resort. Feel new things and explore.
Interesting comment, I'm not currently in school myself so I just kinda automatically changed the word school to work and then everything he says still applies to the working man
Dude. This is it. I'm done with scrolling. In exactly 1 week and 11 hours, I will be getting my drivers license. I am gonna live life to its fullest. stuck at home, stuck in suburbia, and as much as i'd like to experience fun things, it's difficult when you're surrounded with nothing but single homes and asphalt. waiting till the day i can go somewhere else.
me too bro, i have to deal with that and being an only-child my mom is super protective of me so Its pretty difficult to go where I want without her keeping me home
@@Valentino_II yeah, it's hard. i live next to a pretty small and bland park, but i cant even go there without supervision. it's basically the only thing around here for miles. might be able to get a car in the next year or so, but i know that'll be costly to keep up with. wish everything around here didnt require a damn car.
This is what you do. Come up with a pitch so ridiculous that it can’t be taken seriously (I’d like to install a giant inflatable gnome on your property, for example). Go door-to-door and pitch it to people. No plan. See what happens.
I love how you give real, specific examples of how you get out of your routine and comfort zone (and not just say "I try to get out of my comfort zone every day."
'WOW! THAT IS TRUE FOR ALL AGES. I'M 53 AND FEW DAYS AGO I HAD A NICE WALK IN A DIFFERENT AREA FROM WHERE I LIVE, AND IT MADE ME FEEL SO GOOD AND ALIVE! YOUR VIDEO CAN SAVE LIVES..
It is so amazing to see young people like you discovering the beauty of simplicity, the beauty of life. The social media addiction is apparent and has impact on all of the people. It's changing not only young generation, but basically everyone. I remember times without Internet. Being present, creative. Thank you so much for creating this video and sharing your very valuable message. Hope you will reach more people and change people life for the better :) Hugs!
me and my friend went for a walk and we went to visit a ghost town, there was 1 person walking in this old town on top of a hill. It was exciting and none of that was planned. We did like 18km of walking. Fun fact: when we got back home it was night time
this video changed my way of thinking. i just realized how many things i have around my house. there's a little park with a basketball field, i think i will take my basketball there and just play. there's also this laundry shop near my house, a cool bakery shop, a fancy pet shop and even a tiny supermarket. woah! just see how many things i have around me that i can enjoy so much!! your video was such comforting and cozy for me, you definetely gave me a life advice, keep it going with your channel ❤❤❤
Also, dont quit if something goes wrong. Thats the thing I love the most about adventures because it always makes an amazing story. Overall, if everything happened as planned, talking about it would bore people.
YES, OH MY GOD you are RIGHT! this week began taking walks, finding a place, sitting there and just drawing. I grew up so locked in my room I never thought something so simple would give me so much joy. Go out guys, do stuff
Actually, my therapist advised me to experiment with my life even with small things (like the different bus as you said) to understand myself better and at first I was kind of sceptical about this but you filled the missing piece in this puzzle by explaining it briefly and convincing. Now I REALLY understand why is this important. Thank you so much!!
omg same. I noticed myself wanting to try out different things and switching up my routines once I quit social media. because I had nothing else to do. But my mom likes to be in my way -even when it’s unintentionally - like „what are you doing?“ „why would you do this? this doesn’t make sense“ and I‘m like does everything has to make sense? 😅 so annoying..but I‘m on my way to live freely and spontaneously and doing things just for the joy of it. as you said experimenting with life helps you to understand yourself better and it’s really fun and I‘m less scared to try new stuff now :) I always felt like I was stuck and missing out on life (which was true tbh)
@@Ghjjft68u maybe it's better to use professional help if u tried to deal with it and failed. Try to understand the reasons behind this reaction and if it doesn't work - try therapy. You will get the same outcome if you do the same thing

Hey man, genuinely love the video, I’ve had the same experience with going out and giving days meaning, it’s truly a great thing, and I’m happy you’ve shared this video!
I've been stuck in this house for about a month now, relapsing into unhealthy habits like eating junk food, neglecting exercise, study, and not getting enough sleep. Suddenly, your video popped up and it really helped me clear my thoughts. I feel like I've found my answer. I'm going to go outside today. Thank you, brother. You don't know how much you've helped me. You might think this is normal, but for me, it's a huge step ☺.
That’s good to hear I hope you’re doing well now Life can’t be exciting all the time don’t feel too bad about it It’s the boring stuff that makes you able to appreciate simple things like stepping outside and looking at trees I like to do that if you can find any excuse to go outside and do that you’ll always feel better Life can feel dull sometimes when you forget what’s out there but if you take a minute to realise what you can do with the things around you you will always have a reason to smile

@@NebulaJohnny I’m really glad 😁 People think they need something to chase after and plan years ahead but once they achieve that goal they’ll just look for another project to consume their time, that feeling of dissatisfaction and craving stimulation will never go away People are afraid of boredom, sitting with your own thoughts and being aware of your surroundings is a privilege most people won’t ever know Your purpose is deeper than temporary excitement and unsustainable happiness, without boredom and sorrow to balance it out they become meaningless Making yourself happy and the people around you, taking advantage of any chance to make someone’s day better as well as your own, that’s what makes a difference and that’s what life should be about You are special and don’t ever feel like you’re being left behind when you don’t even have to take part in the race Take every day as it comes and make positive changes, take good care of yourself and remember there is nothing wrong with sitting at home and watching tv. Whatever lifts your spirits my friend 😁🙏🙏
Yeah you just gotta put yourself out there and you will see. Once on a sunday I went walking because I had a little hangover and this not a joke. I'll keep it short: I got a job and several signings of famous chess players in the next days.
any tips for women? I feel like men have such massive privilege for the freedom that they have to just go out and do stuff whenever they like :( like rn I'm waiting for friends to text me back if they wanna go out tonight. but that's where I find myself all the time, waiting, waiting, waiting... it's definitely too dangerous for a young woman to go partying alone in a bigger city. I'd love to travel the world! but as a woman I am just too scared to do that alone. even to just go out for a walk in nature. it just happened a few weeks ago near the city where I live that some guy attacked a woman that was walking outside. I feel trapped...
Start training martial arts, BJJ or something. Find travel groups. Make friends that do cool stuff to encourage you until you feel confident enough yourself. Most of all, partying and going out is the number one thing you should quit. That's by far the riskiest activity compared to the other things you want to do. It might not seem like it, but if you get it out of your system sooner than the rest of your friend group, you'll start to see how sad it is for them.
I left a comment just before and deleted it because it was deflective actually. Your video has reminded me that I am not living my fullest life and I have known that for a long time. After watching your video just now I finally feel deeply inspired to allow the sickness to busrt forth, with all my conscious and proactive efforts that I have lazily and resignedly not been taking until now! Cheers my dude
I’ve been pretty depressed and sedentary lately, and I have lots of bad shit going on at home and at school. This will not only help me get out of my lazy rut, but also take my mind off of things and get my blood flowing. Thanks dude, I appreciate this a lot ❤
I recently wrote a list of 100 different things you can do in a day that I wanted to do. Every day I would spin a wheel and pretend it was a random side quest or something. I’m almost through the list, but I’m definitely making another one.
Good video bro. I think the message you've made in this video is one of the most important ones creators in this space need to start pushing. Just taking a small step out of your comfort zone isn't much, but when compounded every single day it'll really change your life. Also the amount of editing you did on this video was really well balanced. Many creators in this 'self improvement' niche either do too many edits which takes away from the video, or no edits at which his just boring. Your flow and pacing of B-Roll works really well, and the video is easy to watch. Keep being consistent and your channel will go big, good job bro
he's right, its okay, you do have time! its normal to worry abt not having enough time to become and do everything you think u need to be and then panic pamper yourself, thats what ive been growing out of! be weird, do something extra for the sake of it, anything and everything is positive when your mind is in a state of longing for change. you dont have to live how you are. love u guys! youre awesome
I know that what I'm about to say will sound like a justification, but here we go. I do not have time for this. I wake up at 6, go to school at 7, then I come back around 16. I have to do homework, read school books, tide in the house. I finish everything at 19 or 20. I'm going to work on the weekends now because I need some money for my personal spending, and I want money to make a driver's license. I come from a lower-class family, and there's no way I could ask my parents to pay for the driver's license expenses. We have financial problems almost all the time. I see no exit from my situation. Nobody from these motivational videos happens to think that people like me exist. I have almost zero free time.

Now this one change how I really feel about life. I have realize I am a human after all I have watch Ghibli's films stuff and wonder why my life doesn't feel adventurous like that there is no "Magic" of life like when I was a kid anymore where everyday was an adventure full of meaning and fulfilling feelings now It's mundane I feel BAD even though my strict routine is aim for the success but I am not happy at all this one opener my blindness to the life I am looking for just by watching this and imagine a new way to live life where my life is more balance by this video is giving me back the old feeling from childhood I guess that's excitement thankyou so much I am gonna visit my grandma soon her home really feel like Ghibli's movie too lol with this new perspective and the new way of this I feel very happy now thankyou PS: sorry for my bad English.
This made me realize that I'm not living for my days, I'm just living for my next weekend, my next break, but weekends are almost entirely homework and even when i am taking break the reality of school coming back still hangs over my head and homework never stops coming (i go to an extremely academically rigorous school). I'll have objectively good days where I'll have a good time with my peers and be in the beautiful outdoors but I'll only realize later. I never want to get out of bed in the morning, i never want to go to school even if being there is pretty good. I don't have the time to do these experiences, yet I don't have time for anything, including TH-cam, which I'm doing rn. I thought i was going to get distracted when i hopped on youtube but instead i got an existential crisis!
I like your enthusiasm. As someone with ADHD and autism, I have to warn you that not everyone has the type of brain that does this naturally. However, it's very beneficial regardless to think about what we want to experience and live in a state of mind open to experimenting a bit.
When I was 23 I was in the same scenario. Don't quit and keep sending those CVs! Your days will feel empty but you need to find your own healthy ways to fill them. (I'm now 25 and have been working for 1 and a half year in my field but it was tough to find the first job).
@@GondorB Ohh I see, that makes me feel better. I'm thinking on actually getting a master degree in anthropology while I work part time at something random. At least that way I might have a bigger chance on working on something I really enjoy in the future
I feel like this is the best advice to give someone. It’s so down to earth and so real. Adults always tell kids to just go outside but never what to do. I feel like this is so important, especially after Covid. I think people forget how much social interaction was lost from covid.
This is a great message, glad I'm on the right track. Im kinda famous at school for doing "Stupid things", but to me its just my way of doing what your saying. For example, things Ive done was.... 1. Drag all of the mulch into a huge pile at recess 2. Smuggle grapes in my pockets out to recess and make my own raisins (They tasted pretty good) 2. Crawl through miles of storm drains and tunnel systems 2.5. Sled down a frozen storm drain. 3. Grow a radish in my locker (Used an artificial UV light) 4. Finish lunch at school a minute earlier for a semester (I had to eat lunch in third period) 5. Just riding my bike around other neighborhoods and finding cool bridges 6. Making cringe TH-cam videos with friends. (My favorite) 7. Going to the park and playing soccer 8. Going to graveyards at night 9. Wandered the woods at night (With friends, still terrifying) 10. Literally got lost on purpose (On foot)
I’m a shut in, not by choice. I don’t exactly have opportunities to leave my house mainly because I live in the middle of nowhere so the stores are always 40 minutes or atleast an hour away which I can’t get to because of family. I don’t go to school nor do I have a job but i’ve been trying to leave my house as much as I can but it’s hard to actually go outside and do things whenever I live in the middle of a desert. I desperately want to leave my house but my family isn’t exactly open to those opportunities. The most social interaction I get from people outside of my family are people online. The reason im commenting all of this is because I need advice from people about what I should do considering my situation
Hopefully tomorrow ima try to actually go outside on my own to the park ( I’m nervous going outside by myself wish me luck!!), walk around, sit at a table draw in my sketch book, read my mangas and maybe walk to a cafe. Wish me luck!! I’ll update y’all soon!!
Love this video and can totally agree! 😁 For nearly 1 and a half year ago, I myself spend a lot of time on TH-cam, Netflix and playing videogames... I was so miserable and bored at my life. Therefore I decided to make a huge change. I wanted to show the world who I am and what I'm actually capable to do 😃👍 So because I had used a whole lot of time practicing singing acapella and have been training gymnastic for 15 years... I decided to participate in X-Factor in Denmark this year 😂 I made it through precasting and went to audition to sing infront of the 3 judges... But unfortunatly I didn't went further. Luckily my audition was so original and entertaining because I surprised the judges by making a backflip before singing, so I was shown on TV! 🤯 It has been an amazing journey and adventure, I love just being myself and do what I like in life! 😉👌
Timofey,This video resonates with me sm.I am 17,I am a student at school as well, and for the past teenage years I would always think that I am just weird, that I don’t deserve improvement, better changes ,choices and happiness, people around me don’t really understand me and my intentions, mindest,so I just kinda disappeared into myself, watching motivating and stupid videos 24/7,scolding myself and crying the sht out of me for not doing more or doing things not good enough. But i am just not there ,not with those people I’m not meant to be ,even my parents don’t understand me and underestimate me,but I am okay,I just need to stop ducking listening to those people and do my thing, thank you, such an inspiration❤️
I know this is outta place here, forgive me but please read, you’ll be blessed The gospel, the good news is salvation from hell. And here’s how to get it, the Bible makes it as clear as can be. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved”, acts 16:31. Words from your mouth don’t even need to be accompanied, just “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved” from hell, it’s this easy!!

Interesting comment, I'm not currently in school myself so I just kinda automatically changed the word school to work and then everything he says still applies to the working man

• be more spontaneous
• test yourself
• test your surroundings
get yourself out there!
And go out of your comfort zone

And be that unemployed friend at a Saturday night
4th optional task :
• test random people on the streets

me and my friend went for a walk and we went to visit a ghost town, there was 1 person walking in this old town on top of a hill. It was exciting and none of that was planned. We did like 18km of walking. Fun fact: when we got back home it was night time

i just realized how many things i have around my house. there's a little park with a basketball field, i think i will take my basketball there and just play. there's also this laundry shop near my house, a cool bakery shop, a fancy pet shop and even a tiny supermarket. woah! just see how many things i have around me that i can enjoy so much!! your video was such comforting and cozy for me, you definetely gave me a life advice, keep it going with your channel ❤❤❤

That’s good to hear I hope you’re doing well now
Life can’t be exciting all the time don’t feel too bad about it
It’s the boring stuff that makes you able to appreciate simple things like stepping outside and looking at trees I like to do that if you can find any excuse to go outside and do that you’ll always feel better
Life can feel dull sometimes when you forget what’s out there but if you take a minute to realise what you can do with the things around you you will always have a reason to smile

I'll definitely take your advice to heart and cherish those moments of stepping outside and admiring nature. Thank you again, brother, for your support 😊
@@NebulaJohnny I’m really glad 😁
People think they need something to chase after and plan years ahead but once they achieve that goal they’ll just look for another project to consume their time, that feeling of dissatisfaction and craving stimulation will never go away
People are afraid of boredom, sitting with your own thoughts and being aware of your surroundings is a privilege most people won’t ever know
Your purpose is deeper than temporary excitement and unsustainable happiness, without boredom and sorrow to balance it out they become meaningless
Making yourself happy and the people around you, taking advantage of any chance to make someone’s day better as well as your own, that’s what makes a difference and that’s what life should be about
You are special and don’t ever feel like you’re being left behind when you don’t even have to take part in the race
Take every day as it comes and make positive changes, take good care of yourself and remember there is nothing wrong with sitting at home and watching tv. Whatever lifts your spirits my friend 😁🙏🙏

Bro has no enemies
any tips for women? I feel like men have such massive privilege for the freedom that they have to just go out and do stuff whenever they like :(
like rn I'm waiting for friends to text me back if they wanna go out tonight. but that's where I find myself all the time, waiting, waiting, waiting... it's definitely too dangerous for a young woman to go partying alone in a bigger city.
Thank you man I really appreciate the words!
he's right, its okay, you do have time! its normal to worry abt not having enough time to become and do everything you think u need to be and then panic pamper yourself, thats what ive been growing out of! be weird, do something extra for the sake of it, anything and everything is positive when your mind is in a state of longing for change. you dont have to live how you are. love u guys! youre awesome
Someone please give me a really good excuse not to do this right now!

I feel like this is the best advice to give someone. It’s so down to earth and so real. Adults always tell kids to just go outside but never what to do. I feel like this is so important, especially after Covid. I think people forget how much social interaction was lost from covid.
Bro is giving me sidequests and I’m all in for it.
This is a great message, glad I'm on the right track. Im kinda famous at school for doing "Stupid things", but to me its just my way of doing what your saying. For example, things Ive done was....
1. Drag all of the mulch into a huge pile at recess
2. Smuggle grapes in my pockets out to recess and make my own raisins (They tasted pretty good)
2. Crawl through miles of storm drains and tunnel systems
2.5. Sled down a frozen storm drain.
3. Grow a radish in my locker (Used an artificial UV light)
4. Finish lunch at school a minute earlier for a semester (I had to eat lunch in third period)
5. Just riding my bike around other neighborhoods and finding cool bridges
6. Making cringe TH-cam videos with friends. (My favorite)
7. Going to the park and playing soccer
8. Going to graveyards at night
9. Wandered the woods at night (With friends, still terrifying)
10. Literally got lost on purpose (On foot)
Thank you, you're awesome. (and I truly did find your voice enjoyable) 👍

This is a great video, 1 minute in and I'm already subscribed. My only complaint is I don't know what to do because my parents don't let me outside.
“Excuse in fancy clothes” is a great quote
Hopefully tomorrow ima try to actually go outside on my own to the park ( I’m nervous going outside by myself wish me luck!!), walk around, sit at a table draw in my sketch book, read my mangas and maybe walk to a cafe. Wish me luck!!
I’ll update y’all soon!!
Love this video and can totally agree! 😁
For nearly 1 and a half year ago, I myself spend a lot of time on TH-cam, Netflix and playing videogames... I was so miserable and bored at my life. Therefore I decided to make a huge change. I wanted to show the world who I am and what I'm actually capable to do 😃👍
So because I had used a whole lot of time practicing singing acapella and have been training gymnastic for 15 years... I decided to participate in X-Factor in Denmark this year 😂
I made it through precasting and went to audition to sing infront of the 3 judges... But unfortunatly I didn't went further. Luckily my audition was so original and entertaining because I surprised the judges by making a backflip before singing, so I was shown on TV! 🤯
It has been an amazing journey and adventure, I love just being myself and do what I like in life!
I know this is outta place here, forgive me but please read, you’ll be blessed
The gospel, the good news is salvation from hell.
