To be honest, douma killed kotoha because muzan didn't like how douma was going to keep her, Douma even said that he doesn't planned on eating her and just keeping her by his side until she passes away, but muzan forced douma to kill her (i think)
@mariamsabra520 I mean, yeah, but in the manga, it revealed that he wasn't able to express emotions from birth. So, he really doesn't feel anything at all. Just like how he fake cried for his followers and Akaza's death.
