We're beyond excited for players to finally step into Site-113 and see what we've been cooking up for them! Just to be clear -- we don't currently have multiplayer available at the moment but it's a planned feature coming up in a future update to go along with the singleplayer campaign

I am not big on horror games, but i do love SCP.. Might give this a try. I am atleast excited to see more about it.
@lordnazar6382 same here. I tried to give horror games a shot in high school when Slender and Amnesia were the craze. Didn’t resonate with me but always appreciated SCP lore and still watch videos to this day.

@@vivosmartphone2280 Yep! Currently there is the first chapter to the solo campaign available, and then the rest of the chapters and multiplayer will be available as a free update

I wouldn't say they're an end of the world scenario, but they definitely are a broken masquerade.
Shocking how there's been no official SCP games or film/shows seeing how immensely popular they are and the amount of content from it.
CONTROL was the closest we've had with the Central Bureau of Investigation.
I LOVE the premise of secret organisations dealing with hidden paranormal threats .
Unless I'm mistaken: There's not a central organization behind SCP since it's a collection of writers on a website making all the content so not really a way to make "Official" games but there have been a ton of SCP games, I guess if some of the writers signed off on there works being used. I am really happy to see higher budget games coming out. I can never get enough SCP media to consume
@IWearShoes31 meant an officially published game with a proper budget, not some low quality fan made milled stuff.
It's because companies can't copyright strike anyone that's using an already establiched SCP, thus no money maker.
The current copyright trolls who hold the "SCP" identity make it particularly hard to do anything officially afaik. Also ever since they got DMCA trolled off the original wiki site, the community has been overly cautious about allowing anyone to do anything "official" regarding the SCP "brand"
Its why everythings either been Fanmade content, or free indie title. I think this is the first Foray into anything legit in a long time.

...I'm not sure which I find more shocking. That the idea of the Foundation having a containment site on Mars makes perfect sense... or that the SCP Foundation was somehow able to keep a bunch of Keter Class anomalies contained long enough to get them on Mars...
Containment breaches are actually very rare. Games like Containment Breach are good but they’ve sorta given people the wrong projection

@@hobocat_ Humans Refuted (SCP-3199) is a keter class SCP. Hostile and able to reproduce on their own. They are impossible to eradicate completely as when they die they spew out an egg that they always carry within them which is near indestructible.
I've had this in my wishlist since 2020 and my god am I glad I never removed it, I've played both early access versions and holy shit am I excited to play this game

Really cool that this SCP Game takes place on Mars! Lots of SCP games seem to sorta shy away from the more sci-fi elements but this game embraces them! Maybe it takes place in one of the space-themed Canonicity’s? Ad Astra maybe! I’m excited (and frightened) to learn more!

A lot of SCP's are heavy into Sci-Fi elements. Its just easy to purge them from your mind because a vast majority of the recent SCP's involve reading a Tolkien level book in order to understand anything.
Site-113 *just* balances on the line between "too much blogging" and "shows you just enough" to keep you interested.

I’ve heard from some people actually dislike the interpretation that SCP Foundations are an Apolitical, Clinical version of the Imperium with vast sci-fi legions and superpowered leadership. There’s no ways they could contain half of the stuff they contain without being an otherworldly power near beyond comprehension. And I’m glad this game sorta acknowledges this.
@ Im just speaking from the concept of Site-113 on its own. Site-113 is an alternate foundation site anyways where "everything that could go wrong, did go wrong" and the foundation in that universe was vastly more capable then the foundation we are usually told about.
I dislike anything after the 3k series personally, but thats just because people started trying too hard to write storybook length SCP articles, rather then the short and sweet creepypasta style stories we grew up with during the 0-1999 series.

Hell yeah! Finally a much bigger and more official game about the SCP Foundation, have always wanted a more proper game within the universe that feels more like a AAA game than just another indie one, as there isn't really any of them I don't think

Idk man last time I played SCP I got people asking me if I lactate, Russian guy was drinking Cola, a Greek dude was doing 5 side quests while protecting me and Ivan, shit's weird.
Too bad I don't have a PC. But I'll be waiting for the console release! (Usually chapter games or popular PC games gets a console release later)
