The perfection of God’s will and the end the journey leads to is far greater than our thorns. They may be painful and could make us bleed, but the wounds will be healed, the scars will remind us of how far we could get in a weak state when we have the Lord’s power on our side, and we’ll come to the point where the thorn no longer hurts, but its purpose is understood.

I think sometimes the thorns in our life he keeps them there because we have to continue to call on him if he take them away we might forget him are stopped calling on him
Yes, Paul was speaking of three layers. Psalm 19 and 300 other verses in the bible expound upon the facts of the creation of the firmament (first layer the floor of heaven). This is what I saw and experienced when I had a near death experience: I fell asleep in anesthesia (out of the body). At first I was in the dark waters (Psalm 18:9-18) and Genesis 1:2 above the first firmament. It was terrible and dark and cloudy. I swam as much as I could to reach the 2nd firmament into the bright light. Then a cherub dove into the water and lifted me up and out. I asked myself if I was going to heaven. At this part of my life I was 15 years old. I then remembered an invisible barrier and as I saw a light blue sky I touched it and woke up on the hospital bed. The earth is pressurized and there is no outer space

I believe the thorn was the messenger of Satan just as it says. It does manifest in the flesh because everywhere Paul went he was persecuted by the Jews.

I thought that 1st level of heaven is the sky and clouds the 2 nd is outer space and 3rd was the True heaven where God is.
