Well done to Nottingham Forest for calling this out,the standard of referee’s and VAR this season has been absolutely abysmal.Every club should follow,if nothing is done it will only continue to get worse, the game has become unwatchable at times this season because of the poor officiating.

but of course, Notts Forest will get panned for daring to speak such heresey. Week in week out we see managers biting their tongues for fear of being fined for daring to question the perfection that is VAR. FA Cup semi-finals - Coventry (played brilliantly) get awarded a penalty yet the day before, in exactly the same circumstances, Chelsea were denied. Its the interpretation and inconsistency that is pissing so many people off. It is ruining the game.

But Forest have now accused the VAR official & PGMOL of match fixing.

@xnlyxn9862 Luton, Forest and Everton were directly competing for relegation.
I haven't seen any explanation for why fixing the game for Everton to win, instead of Forest or a draw (especially when giving those penalties would have led to cards, sending off, suspensions, which could affect other games Everton will play).
And I haven't seen any evidence he's a Luton fan.

Eliminate VAR. We have the same controversies we had before VAR. So what is the point? At least the referees had the excuse that they couldn't see the plays again. So what is the excuse for VAR f...ups? Corruption.

These VAR guys are just hopeless.
Remember liverpool vs Tottenham game, liverpool vs Arsenal game, liverpool vs Man city game. Just too poor to say the least. It costed liverpool a number of points and only refeerers giving apologies when a team has lost of colossal points to win a league title. Nottingham can be relegated with a single point when they a supposed to survive with 2 points. It's a shame. Refeerers need to change their attitudes, not just because they are highly protected. Replays must be introduced if a team has lost because of bad officiating

Young's first nibble was near identical to the one on DCL at Bournemouth, which wasn’t given and should have been, the handball was near identical to Michael Keane's at Anfield, which was given - correctly according to the appalling rules, wrongly if you’re a traditionalist - and the Odoi one was clumsy and while I can’t slate the ref for not seeing it in real time it should have been picked up by VAR who must have been on a smoke break or having a shite or something. I genuinely sympathise with Forest 💙

Why does the premier league not want Nottingham Forest there? It seems a fair question because they certainly seem to be doing everything possible with the officiating on the pitch to help them go back down. I'd love to know what the club has done to piss them off so much. The bias against Forest is so transparent. It's sad to see; for the cub, the supporters, the city and not least of all for football.

The straw that broke the camel's back. Kudos to NES and Forest for having the courage and actually standing up for themselves. The system is failing the lesser elite big-name teams such as them and Everton to name a few who keep getting constantly cheated out of decisions which go only the way of the Big 6. The apologies are thin and it is clear as crystal that this is corruption against the lesser big name clubs in the Premier League.
The integrity of this division and the officiating, decision making and lack of accountability by the referees in charge of matches in this division is simply embarrassing. If referees like Mike Dean, Anthony Taylor and Paul Tierney did their jobs properly and did them in a 50/50 manner instead of a 90 against 10, they wouldn't be subjected to some much hate and abuse, but they simply do not learn and this is why they get abused.

Add in the handball decision on Saturday City v Chelsea. It seemed like a pen, but it definitely touched him, so why was a corner not given? The rules need clarification and it seems like referees are not the best people to be in charge of VAR. What a mess!

The first pen decision is 50/50. i think its a pen but VAR not overruling the decision made on the field isn't that unusual. The other 2 were awful and should 100% be asking the ref to take another look at it.

Neville trying to defend VAR is embarrassing, must be on the payroll, Saha was right, that statement has to be put on social media because people need to start holding VAR accountable, Neville trying to say, the way it should be done is the manager should just say a few words after the match and "embarrass" VAR that way, nothing happens
What should happen is the VAR official should have to do a post match interview, with a monitor, and talk through each VAR decision they had made during the game, they should have to explain why they made that decision, if VAR refs know that that's what they'll have to do if they make dodgy decisions you'll start seeing alot more accurate one's

Doesn’t surprise me at all. They gave Liverpool the ball back in the 99th minute from a deadball that was ours and we just kick it upfield for a draw… but it wouldnt suit the run in and the hype of the title race would it. We had Boly produce an outstanding challenge and get a straight red in Nunos first game. It’s unreal. Minimum 6pts dropped just from refs if we are being generous.
