I didn't see/hear this mentioned in the playthrough, so here's a little trick for anyone reading this even if it is five and a half years late(r). Guys typically won't shoot their rockets if they'll kill themselves in the process. Sure, they'll fire then run into the explosion, but if you're in contact distance, like close enough to chop them...they usually won't fire...until/unless you back away. What was getting this guy a lot in this run is he kept moving away from them, which is a very understandable reaction (explosions!!!). But it is completely backward of what you need to do if you want to have a much better chance of surviving. So, get in the habit of getting right up in their face to chop/shoot them. Important note: this trick only works with one guy at a time usually. Aka, if there's another guy that can see you, he will happily rocket you and his friendly unit just to get you. So be aware.
theres always more guards due to the way they spawn in this level. if a guard hears u he will spawn another guard on top of him to pursue u until u kill the original guard that spawned at the begining of the level. i believe that only applies to stationary guards not the ones that move. this is supposed to be a stealth level like the bunker thats y its like that.
I think you might have figured this out, but there is more pistol ammo stored in the filing cabinets in the interrogation room, but not sure why they'd store it there as crates would be better places to look for more ammo or more guns.
That rocket launcher sound is terrifying in the tank level or any level but the one in the town with the tank is just horrifying cus you go one way and you hear that screech sound and you are just like OH GOD HAVE MERCY! Or atleast that's me cus it just tells me that I best get moving or I'm going to die ungodly quick cus them rockets are the strongest weapons agenst the tank.
i love how at 13:10 hes like dont these guards have wives and kids n stuff and know its not safe to use rocket launcher in close quarters and not be able to return home to their familys and at 13:24 he does the exact same thing as the guards LMAO
Running for it in the Archives is ALWAYS the best strategy, period. Also, I knew that this mission would become a disaster *waits for Train, Jungle & Control*
The streets is actaully like almost identaticale on Agent, since you dont have to talk to the fatass, you can just get into the tank and drive, and the original level had enemies holding rockets, so really it's the first couple of guys at the begining that'll be different. :D But good luck on the later missions, train, just have to worry about being flanked from behind, most of the guards take care of themselves. XD
I'm going to do this on 00 agent, me and my buddy beat it with slappers only on the n64, we decided it was the only way cuz theyd never stop coming for you if you shot.
If you ever decide to Let's Play Mario Kart 64, Double Dash or Wii(Maybe even Super Mario Kart for Super Nintendo?), I would love it if you added failed Attempts to that as well when you fail at getting first place at the end of a Tournament. Sorry if I worded that weirdly.
