- San Diego, California - Travel guide to the Embarcadero, Coronado, and the Gaslamp. San Diego is a lovely coastal city in Southern California, and these are some of the best things to do in town. At the waterfront, you find the Embarcadero, and you can visit the Maritime Museum and the USS Midway Museum. There's also Seaport Village, with nice shops and restaurants. Being downtown San Diego, you can easily get a ferry or drive to Coronado island, and enjoy both coasts. One has the best view of the San Diego skyline, the other has the fantastic Coronado Beach and the traditional Hotel Del. For the nightlife we chose the Gaslamp Quarter, which is actually within walking distance to Seaport Village, and you have so many options for a fun night out.
There are so many things to do in San Diego that you'll need at least 3 days. This is day 1 in our itinerary.

Like Los Angeles, only 4 million but made up of so many cities that the region contains over 17 million people. Crazy

Traveled all over the world (except South America) and I have never seen a most complete moderate weather anywhere else so far. San Diego is the best. Weather speaking. Tons of activities year around is what you get for that weather.
I agree. Some comparable places to visit Portugal/Spain and Chile
@@RenataPereiraTV Malaga, Spain is the reason I ended up in San Diego. Loved Malaga similar to San Diego. I like big cities with small city mood, slow and relax. Barcelona not so much. Lisbon may be. I have been in all of those Southern Europe Mediterranean countries all the way to Haifa, Israel. Sydney is another similar city to San Diego. My favorite tho Manley bay just across Sydney harbor.

@@RenataPereiraTV here is another one to put on your list. Iceland. Different from those ideal weather cities I mentioned but totally worth it. It gets a bit touristy in the summer. September starts getting cold and windy but less crowded. If you guys have questions feel free to ask. One thing I do before traveling, I ask different people who have done it already. I found that very helpful.

Yes, I visited the USA many times, Orlando, Miami, New York, Las Vegas ...., the first visit was in 1998, and then I came a lot , but Corona stopped us in the end, and this is something that hurts my heart for my great love for the United States and I will repeat the visit soon for sure after feeling the Corona conditions because it prevents the person from enjoying But out of all the states I've visited, I really enjoyed Orlando, I've been to it more than 5 times, and I hope to visit it today before tomorrow.

What date was this recorded? I ask this because you said the weather is beautiful year round but June is terrible with the gloom lol
Relatively speaking, no snow and negative celsius temperatures. Rarely over 35C and less humidity.
We have found the weather fantastic year round. June gloom is a drop in the bucket compared to 90% humidity of summers in Rio or weeks of below zero in Canada. Just my opinion.

Good time of year to visit. Temps are pleasant and you may get some hot days. Rarely rains this far into the year.
Of note, June gloom, obviously the month of June, is overcast a lot...marine layer that may not burn off.
