What an epic unboxing of a great model! The A380 is fabulous!
Thank you!
Love the model of the a380. You helped me to make my model airport a few years ago (via video) and I love your vids because of that! 😊
I live right under the approach path into Dulles, so I see everything coming in at around 12,000ft. Recently got a nice camera for spotting, so I'd like to get photos of each A380 in BA's fleet.
That's awesome!
Beautiful plane! and thanks for a bit of history on this unique airplane type. Like you, my 1:200 collection are the planes I have flown on, so when displayed it brings back memories of adventures taken.
Agreed! Having a 1/200 collection that means something is always the best
Great review! Mine is supposed to get here today or tomorrow! I cannot wait, an absolutely beautiful model that’ll be the centerpiece of my 1:200 shelf!
Thanks and awesome, it is definitely centrepiece material!
Nice unboxing, the a380 is certainly a wonderful aircraft to fly on. Have only flown it once with Singapore Airlines but definitely enjoyed it.
Thanks and agreed!
Glad to see you back again!
Thanks!
Nice video man, what a model 😍
Thank you!
Welcome Back Again Aviation18. Happy Friday & Good to see your Face Again. Great Unboxing & Love the BA A380-800. Registration is G-XLEL. Since November 2020, You unboxed the other BA A380-800 with Registration, G-XLEC. And Keep Up with the Appreciated Work! Liked the Vid!
Thank you, I appreciate it!
I'm always tuning into his vids
I'm glad!
Love the vids! Keep it up!
Great unboxing video! Aer Lingus did also fly to IAD on their Boeing 757-200s by ASL Ireland before their A321LRs came in. I might probably get either G-XLEL or Emirates Expo as my next one but they both painfully cost around €200 to get it though.
Thank you and yes! Unfortunately they didn't have enough 752's to operate them all the time so for a while they were switching between the 752 and A332. I think the 752 is what made them realise the A321N would be a success!
nice model, the a380 is one of my favourite aircraft
Thank you!
You are the A380 whisperer mate! So lucky I haven't flown a single 380 yet in my life. I just film them. One of these days
Beautiful your plane is wonderful… enjoy and nice day from Mexico
the beauty of this model is INSANE
Agreed
Wow a amazing video!
Thank you!
Love your videos
Thank you!
Great unboxing video!Just a small correction - At time 9:45, its the nose gear, not the main gear. Thanks!
Nice model and good video, liked the video.
Thank you!
@@Aviation18 your welcome
Hey Joe! Beautiful Plane, A380 by BA is one of my favorites. Was not sure if you heard, and this is unrelated, but Play is starting service to Dulles soon so you will probably be able to use the A321NEO at new Dulles.
Thanks man and yes! I have heard, as well as Norse and Westjet!
Very Exciting! 😃
Beauty of a model
Also Iran air placed an order of some a380
Oh cool!
Outstanding
By the way I recently saw a British Airways a380 when I went to London last week
That's awesome!
Nice video!
Thank you!
Nice model
Thanks!
I have an aviation 400 Lufthansa A380 and they do have the fuel dump tube in 1:400
Awesome!
Wow!
Thanks!
Hello mate I'm also from Portsmouth!
Awesome!
Hi There. only recently came across your page but glad I did! I don't have any models however I have always wanted the Emirates a380 model as I fly on them regularly to new Zealand. But don't know which manufacturer to go with. Can you recommend one (or the best), in your view. The largest one available-like the one in your video here. That would be very much appreciated. Thank you.. PS.. Just wondering is there any model companies that make a larger version or indeed gemini?
For 1/200 scale, I would recommend Gemini200, they’re probably the best at that scale and they have a lot of Emirates A380’s. Hope that helped!
@@Aviation18 Thanks very much for the info. I think your right to go with Gemini!
Are you going to get the an225?
cool video 👍 Not seen you unbox it yet but can already tell its gonna be good. Out of curiosity, as a new collector, how do you justify the money on these planes? Could you perhaps do a video on price and how you choose which ones/brands to buy and where from. This seems like the most expensive hobby ever 😹
Gemini Jets is the best company to buy. Prices are pretty fair, as all models usually hold their value or go up in value if they are taken care of
Thanks man and there comes a point where you enjoy it so much that the money becomes justifiable. For 1/400 scale I'd say NG Models but for 1/200, I'd say Gemini200
@@Aviation18 thanks for the response. My first 1/400 was a jemini but ill definetely look into NG
nice
Thanks!
yooooooooooo
yooooooooo
wait did you fly the A380s or fly on them? sorry dumb question
yoo ive flown g-xlek from vancouver to london heathrow
Awesome!
A lot more handsome guy than I thought
Haha, thanks!
Where Can I Get That Gemini 200 😁😁
In your opinion, what is the best brand for 1:200 aircraft model?
Hmmm, probably Gemini200, but they do have their flaws...
@@Aviation18 Ok, thanks.
The engines will be the trent 900
Good eye
How do you afford these? Because I’m guessing they are very expensive, obviously work, but I’m just wondering
It's not actually as difficult as it may seem. I work a regular 40 hour a week job and it's easy to afford model aircraft under those circumstances, as long as you don't have many dependencies or much rent. When I was younger, finding the money for models was difficult, but as you get older it becomes easier.
@@Aviation18 😁
Again lol first to comment :D 😂
Ayyyy nice
