A Serene Escape in Bengaluru for Third Wave’s co-founder Anirudh

Third Wave Coffee founder Anirudh Sharma and his wife Ranu created a tranquil escape in the heart of Bangalore.
Their 2,500 square-foot home, aptly named "The Serene Home," offers a calm haven for this growing family amidst a noisy, traffic-stricken neighbourhood of Koramangala.
Anirudh, a professional chef and hospitality connoisseur, often dreamt of living in a hotel for the rest of his life. However, Edwin Stanley of Concepto Studio, the man behind this remarkable transformation, explains, "You can’t live in a hotel room forever. It is too cold and impersonal, so we have infused certain elements of a luxury hotel into a very warm, comfortable and cosy home."
The challenges of renovating this city apartment included making the most of its central yet peaceful location, demarcating distinct zones for living, dining, and the kitchen, and working with builder-grade flooring that limited colour choices.
