I bought 7 boxes of these for my sister and my nieces who are huge Disney fans and when they went up to $600 she said just sell them and buy us some singles of characters we liked. I sold 5 and opened two and sold all the silver holos as they have surface issues which is very common and every single buyer on Ebay had strictly sports cards in their listings. It's a nice set but Disney collectors don't seem to really care and the people pumping this up are sports card collectors who are probably going to get stuck holding the bag on these as right now it's more than likely sports guys all selling to each other.
You could be wrong about this. Just assume that 95% of Collectors didn't even notice the cards yet (like myself). It's the first set that disney ever released, most likely not the last and it's on their 100 anniversary. I can't see much going wrong with investing a few bucks if you can spare them. Look at vintage cards these days, the market is just crazy.
I love how they have Disney Cars Characters in this set! Still my favorite childhood movie, my favorite Disney Pixar Movie, and I still collect the Diecast Cars to this day, after being one of the kids that grew up playing with the originals!
Really cool cards and nice hits. That dinosaur card was awesome. That last card was sweet. I like Disney's A Christmas Carol. Was fun to watch. Great video
Have you ever done breaks with any of the Upper Deck Marvel stuff? There are a lot of various boxes from even just the last few years that have a lot of high end hits and sell for insane prices.
I just wanna hear the over the top breakers bug out over hitting a 1/1 Donald Duck. This set has potential. Would love to see an Adam Banks rookie card in here
In my opinion this product is amazing. But for your lower tier collectors that just wan to collect the cards and the price being blown up now makes it hard to collect and have fun with this set. Also the facsimile non auto cards are way over priced. From when i just found out about this product it was too late to even buy a box.
