Great video as always! As much as I agree with Chris on the original reflective tongue material looking nicer, as someone that picked up 2000 Black Metallics maybe a decade ago (and actually got a year or two of frequent wear out of them before selling to a friend); that early fabric-esque reflective actually chipped. I remember there being a window of time after that where reflective elements on Jordan retros didn't shine as brightly as well. I'm guessing that this current glossy material is their attempt at something that reflects brightly without sacrificing durability.
I love all the 5’s! Pretty much every 3 & 5 that comes out I get. 3’s and 5’s have always been some of my favorites because they were my first Jordans. I personally think it’s a timeless design and I’ll def be trying to double up on these.
Just sent this video to the wife,... she is going to be picking these up....we both have the AJ 5 Anthracite and it is " DEFINITELY" a half size down type of shoe....I double sock mine
picked these up for retail a week after they came out and man easily my favorite 5s by now, colour is so nice and shoe is just clean in general would highly recommend for anyone new to 5s
@@brobob52 ive worn them to festivals, concerts and general day to day use with proper maintenance they look perfect still mine have a tiny spot of discolouration from throwing up on the back lol otherwise still perfect soles are obviously a bit worn but nothing bad

I have the new moolights in what I usually wear, an 8 1/2. And I find them a bit tight. I do find they have more cushioning than what usually comes in a Jordan, so that may be the reason. And I haven’t really worked them in yet. But I don’t love how my feet feel in the shoes. Glad to hear they opened the shoe up a bit to make it truer to a 1-1 fit.
I agree with you on the tongue of the shoe. The originals had a reflective shimmer to them. But overall the shoe looks decent. I'm not sure about getting half a size smaller. With my luck they'll be too tight.
Blue is my favorite...and I'm grabbing these for sure ...I never had the jordan 5's...they suppose to be coming out February 12th...it might be the last pair I'm getting for awhile...hopefully...I dont see anything better than these that nike dropping anytime soon ....I wanna say these one of best jordans they released too.
Chris, great review! Your note about sizing was funny. I have the most recent Fire Red and the Top 3. I like the roomy Fire Reds better, so I won't complain when I get these. I'm a size 15 so I don't have an option.
I got these, man they are my new favorite. My old favorites were the green glow 4s. And it's crazy I have the military black 4s and them racer blues are still so comfy and just look dope.
I love the 5, and these look well done, but they don’t feel essential to me in my collection. I can’t buy everything. But, good luck to everyone who wants them, hope you get them!

Yeah I have the raging bulls and the stealth’s and the moonlights are definitely tighter for some reason. Less bulky too
