I remember buying American gangster the day it came out from circuit city back in 2007. I was blown away. Then i saw this storytellers when it first aired. If I’m not mistaken it premiered. On VH1. The American gangster era of his career is brutally underrated. Arguably the best work of his career.

I saw this concert on VH1 12 years ago, It's been a long time and brings me a lot of memories.
I remember playing this video almost everyday. The fact that Jay never wrote down his raps makes this entire album feel like he’s telling us his story and experience but through the perspective of Frank Lucas.
