Scaleauto Pro-Track plastic track system first impression

I subsequently discovered that this collection of track pieces is quite old, it's some of their first production pieces and has been used extensively for testing purposes including continuity checks, drop testing, paint adhesion etcetc the darkest pieces are the newest.
I can also confirm that the track width and lane spacing is the same as that of the Carrera track system (100mm) and can easily be integrated with it using adapter straights offering multi surface slot racing.
Track pieces have 6 different radii, one of which tighter than Carrera R1 but DOES NOT fit inside the Carrera R1 piece. The Pro track R5 fits outside of Carrera R4 and the R6 outside of that.
New at the show was the 22.5deg R1 radius curve seen in the video and a recent addition was the 100mm straight. A digital lane changer is still yet to be seen but IS planned for future production along with a
I also heard that a special start finish line piece can be manufactured featuring text of your choice, the name of your raceway for example!

The Rolls Royce track system in any way, ekectric connectivity,, track connection , R6, stiffness and so on . A question point is 1he track roughness which might have increased compared to the prototype version we tested

Ninco pulled out of the slot car marketplace many years ago now. Ninco track I'm quite familiar with as I race on it often. It's becoming more and more difficult to find nowadays and there are better alternatives recently released, Scaleauto, Policar and Carrera primarily. Having said that, for digital racing the Ninco lane changer has remained the go to piece, remaining the best option until 2024 when both Scaleauto and Policar will finally have their piece on general sale.
