Americans might regard colourful language as pointless, but in Australia it's an integral part of our culture. The movie was actually pretty mild compared to a typical Aussie conversation. The characters would be dropping lines like "face like a punched lasagna" and "so stupid he'd probably try to kick start a land mine."

So much that I have watched this one more than once, but it does not change the fact that it was forced with every rom com cliche and the flattest lead actress performance I’ve ever seen.
