I always enjoy it when two of my favorite u-tubers meet. That being Silas and Mr. Good Pliers. I get the feeling that they really respect each other even though Silas is a scrapper and Mr. Good Pliers hates to see any vehicle scrapped.
Those little pieces in the 53 Ford taillight lenses are call CAT'S EYES when you step on the brake pedal, they light up like cat's eyes. They go way back in the 40's/50's I know because I am 85 years old.
Silas, Your small plastic cars are from the late 50s and early 60s. They are MPC cars of the world. They came in large bags at Woolworths for 98 cents. They did do well on Ebay.
Mr., thank you for taking the time and showing us all this stuff that most of us has never seen before. Really interesting. Your TH-cam channel is very interesting. I like to see all the old stuff there. I grew up as a kid with.
I be a kid in a candyshop at that swap meet ,so many cool vintage stuffs unlike the modern junk & cheap imported junk near my place, the prices are good too,i am glad that you find unique items & make a little profit on them too
Thank you for a big trip down memory lane with my dad much needed. Every time we went shopping i would always get mad cause to me it was all junk but to him it was gold. Oh and i always had to take it all to the truck lol i sure do miss him thanks again
Silas, That was really fun to watch! I used to go to swap meets every weekend to buy vacuum tube electronics stuff. I enjoyed it a great deal and mad many friends. Now that I can no longer walk I really miss going. That’s why this video was especially meaningful to me. Peace my friend, DrRick
Swap Meets are always sooooo Interesting as You never Know what Gem You can pick up ! You got some very Good "Smalls" and some for a great Bargain - well done Silas ! Bucket of Yard Sticks - Peddle Car and all those Cool Emblems and much More ! Toy Trucks and Cars as well ! Enjoyed the Video very much and many Cheers from Australia !
👍👌👏 Silas strikes again! Congratulations 🎉 for all these great purchases. Some pieces were sold quite cheap. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all involved people
Great video! I love going to places like that. I can take ages going round and will end up with loads of things I don't need! Like you say remembering where you left stuff is a pain after you have been there for hours!😊
The little plastic car's remind me of the pediatricians office when I was a kid, after being seen the doctor would let you pick out a toy from what he called the toy drawer. Thanks for the memories.
Wow I have that crane myself I'm here in Canada I bought it as I was a young boy I'm almost 60 now p and I still have it that one is so cool I'm glad you bought it!
You should make a point to come to the Hershey antique car show/ swap meet. It’s amazing what you’ll find there. It’s usually the first week of October. It’s huge. Advertising, cars, parts. Everything you could think off. My buddies dad always sells a few cars there.
I love watching your videos and I can't tell you how much I admire you asking the price and most always you just pay this helps both you and the customer I admire this I also think you are well known at these auctions people are really nice to you, I am still waiting for you to use a pull behind wagon to put your stuff in you leave so much you might forget to gather your things anyway have a good one Sylas keep on doing you brother, 😅
Hey Silas that manure spreader has a cool guarantee decal on the side, it's a guarantee that the sides will never rot out in the lifetime of the spreader. LoL we run 3 of them and I don't know what they made the sides out of for steel but everything else has been rebuilt but the sides are finally getting wore and thin in spots and going to be a winter project to reskin them. But anyways another home run video and I hope your father is doing better. Keep up the good work.
I’m with you, you do the humping, buying, etc. When you sell? That’s feeding your family. I NEVER TRY TO CUT A PERSONS PRICES BY BEING NASTY? Nope I will pay a fair price, I figure that you found it, you’re not trying to burn anyone. I’ve stopped buying and selling, too old. I’ve seen some of these cars you sell for rebuilding, when I was building I would have bought a half dozen of yours at your prices. I loved getting a body straight, brakes, running gear nice. Sell without engine, wiring and trannies. It helped guys that wanted a straight body. I made money, they had a chance to build their sweet rides. 😊Silas, we would have been great buds! I love recycling yards!!!!!!! I love shoe box fords, coupes etc. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I think you made some really good buys! As long as I can double my money or more it’s all good. Sometimes I make bad buys but I just view them as learning opportunities and as long as I can make enough to get my money back and pay for my time and labor then I’m OK with that. 😂 If I have too I will bundle them with something else or other things to promote their sale.
Thanks Silas for taking us to the swap meet. It's fun to see what's being sold (and bought). Have you found a Mopar sign yet, one you like? Thanks for the nice video. I appreciate it.
Good day Silas! I'd say you did right well myself! Although I can be a bit more of a haggler. However if something is priced reasonable to start, I won't. I get offended, when I have things already priced at 50% of their worth, and people try to offer half of that. Don't insult me! I price things to sell, I want a sale, but I'm not giving stuff away! You always seem a pretty fair man.
"video camera" Haha, that is called a "motion picture camera" or a "home movie camera." Didn't start called them videos until we started using videotape.
Did you point out that 56 Chevy 2-door hardtop and he was going to crush it? Is about a third of the way through your video $20 for all those emblems you bought early on, it took more in labor to take that off 📴 of the vehicles
Gday Silas, Silas, we don’t seem to have those markets where we live so I’m so envious. In the beginning of your video I saw two blue rocker cover's , some people are turning them into desk and wall lights. That’s something I would like to try. Anyway great video. From Down Under.
I ended up with a collection of ice picks... they were in a lot I bought at an auction. I felt like Lizzy Borden's cousin Ice pick Ida when I found them. Lol I only have a few yard sticks, my favorite is a John Deer cane
Silas there was a small white motorcycle gas tank at the 20 minute mark if you can find that again it looks like a Honda Z50 tank let me know if you can find it next time I am interested!!
Did I make some good buys or did I mess up?
What is junk to one person may be very valuable to another. I think you have done well. You bought some nice stuff. 😎👍
I think you did good.
I also think you should get a booth at the swap meet so you can get all the good stuff first. Do it at least once.
As they say, only buy stuff you like.
This video you did that.
I think that you did fine 👍
Do you have any door latches for the a 67 mustang?
I appreciate you not beating up the vendors over price! Let them make a few bucks and make some friends. I respect you for that!
I always enjoy it when two of my favorite u-tubers meet. That being Silas and Mr. Good Pliers. I get the feeling that they really respect each other even though Silas is a scrapper and Mr. Good Pliers hates to see any vehicle scrapped.

Awesome video love the flea market and of course the junk yard ! Good combo video ! A++++++. Always look forward to your next adventure 👍
Silas, Your small plastic cars are from the late 50s and early 60s. They are MPC cars of the world. They came in large bags at Woolworths for 98 cents. They did do well on Ebay.
Lots of good stuff! My favorite is the Amish Buggy sign.
Mr., thank you for taking the time and showing us all this stuff that most of us has never seen before. Really interesting. Your TH-cam channel is very interesting. I like to see all the old stuff there. I grew up as a kid with.
Had fun hanging out with you silas excellent guest aperince by Mr pliers cheers 🥂 😊
The tail light lenses with the jewels in them are Blue Dots. Popular in the 50's and 60's. At a distance makes the light look purple.
Thumbs up, great adventure for a Monday, miss doing swap meets and flea marketing
I be a kid in a candyshop at that swap meet ,so many cool vintage stuffs unlike the modern junk & cheap imported junk near my place, the prices are good too,i am glad that you find unique items & make a little profit on them too
Awesome video Silas
Wow! Even with the dollar exchange, everything you bought would be more than double the price here in central Canada. Great prices!!
I love it when Silas takes us all along to swap meets. There's just so much cool stuff I've never seen before 🙂👍
I'm the biggest fan and plan on going to see him when I get vacation time next month.
Thank you for a big trip down memory lane with my dad much needed. Every time we went shopping i would always get mad cause to me it was all junk but to him it was gold. Oh and i always had to take it all to the truck lol i sure do miss him thanks again
Back in the 70's, those yellow caution signs used to be on K-96 and Yoder Road.
This vids and the last one are the best love to watch you but things

Thanks for the video. I appreciated the hell out of it.

Excellent Siilus ! That Caution slow vehicles sign, should really be gifted to The Amish Community 🙂
Great video buddy, nice change of things. Your southern Indiana fan. 😊
Great buys
Can confirm. Had a '93 Ford with a ball joint failure. Learned my lesson about ignoring squeaky noises.
If you're not careful you're gonna be famous pretty soon Silas - 125,000 people watching your channel!, that's incredible, great work!
Great to see you selling some stuff
29 sec ago, open and let the fun began. Thanks again about your vids.

Americana!!
25:40 Looks like a picture tube/ lens from a rear projection TV. There were three in each set: one blue, one green and one red. (1980)
Taking Silas to a swap meet is a greater thing than taking a girl to Tiffany's 😂
Lo ve that orange cyclone car buddy
Cool video thanks 😊

Cool stuff you can barter for beans when shtf!

very enjoyable video Silas 👍
I think you needed a little red wagon to put all your haul in to drag it around 👍👍🇦🇺
Thanks Silas for taking us to the swap meet. It's fun to see what's being sold (and bought). Have you found a Mopar sign yet, one you like? Thanks for the nice video. I appreciate it.
Nice Matchbox crane truck. They were made between 1965 and 1969.

My dad’s 69 is that teal color and all original just like the tailgate you bought.
Gday Silas, Silas, we don’t seem to have those markets where we live so I’m so envious. In the beginning of your video I saw two blue rocker cover's , some people are turning them into desk and wall lights. That’s something I would like to try. Anyway great video. From Down Under.
30:20 ,i probably stick that on my SpeedQueen washing machine 😁
those little jewels are called blue dots and were illegal at least here in Illinois
I know a friend who uses old manure spreaders for raised gardens
The Coca-Cola bow tie, as you called it, is called a fish tail sign because of the ends looking like a fish tail.
Cool bean
I think you made some great deals
Silas you should have a stall and take some of the weird and wonderful hub caps etc
I ended up with a collection of ice picks... they were in a lot I bought at an auction. I felt like Lizzy Borden's cousin Ice pick Ida when I found them. Lol I only have a few yard sticks, my favorite is a John Deer cane
Thank you I will be paying attention. I know in one of your videos you threw out some numbers on cabs and wall art , thank you for the response.
Speed queen was located in Ripon Wisconsin
Silas there was a small white motorcycle gas tank at the 20 minute mark if you can find that again it looks like a Honda Z50 tank let me know if you can find it next time I am interested!!
Fab Rats might need that jeep speedometer
13:31 pretty sure the grille is from a 1932 Hudson 8 Coupe
An automobile called Speed Queen.
👍😆
Great video. I wonder if there are any dealerships on any of those yardstick.
I didn’t see your big grill did you forget ?
LoL I was at a swap meet myself this weekend.
Hi where and when is this swapmeat as would like to go next time in the US.??
As people start to know you. Do you feel they drive the price on things up ?
"Pssst, here comes money bags"
No, they actually lower their prices. They know I’m not there to negotiate or waste time. That’s worth a lot to people by itself.
The 53 tail lights pretty cool my wife has one and a 54
The box of toy cars would be cool key chains
You always say I'm not buying much today 😅
Would you have any interest in a couple vermeer caps for international?
Bonus AMFS again!
Silas, how can you possibly remember all the things you have? Is there some method to your madness?
Chaos is my middle name 😆
@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch I believe that! 😆
Do you have an accounting or inventory system to track what you pay for everything?
Yes I keep a running total as I go
Hey Silas, what do you want for the Jeep speedo that you bought.
$35. My email is in the video description!
