@@chihabeddine8023 My professor literally told us a week ago that the empty string "e" should be treated like 0, because if you have leading zeros you can just remove and add them as you want and it doesn't change the number's value. For example 000012 is equal to 0012, which is equal to 12. If you now take 000 that is equal to 0. So, 000 = 0 00 = 0 0 = 0 e = 0 The empty string encodes the same value as 0 so it should be treated like it.

There is an issue with your solution ( your dfa accepts also epsilon ( empty string ) ) so it should'nt !
