I was searching for fanvids with this song. Never expected to find one for Tom and Francis. I both liked and hated this movie but I don't know what it says about me that I found Francis very attractive despite his instability. Part of me wanted something to happen between them and another wanted Tom to run for the hills. I was glad when he finally left in the end but I still felt some pity for Francis.
I must say, your video is very good but it gets insanely good at 2:09. I mean, come on. Just watching the film I never realized how they had sexual tension. Through your video I could see it. Francis struggling, all that. And the scenes of Francis beating Tom up and them dancing Tango combining... Man, true gold, it's Art and it takes you to another places!!! I can almost feel I'm there and I'm from Brazil, very far away from Canada. Brilliant 👏🏻👏🏻 And this song ridiculously fits Tom.... Lana Del Rey is such a vibe, I feel she was so underrated. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves one day, future generations.
Highly recommend this film although the end leaves you guessing. Note that the deceased brother exhibits heterochromia iridum which is often an appealing feature in my view 0:47 (0.51).
+Martindyna Yes it was wonderful but what does it leave guessing, is it perhaps that the brother was murdered?! or something else i'd like your view point i've never been good with movies where there is no confirm closure :)
+ryu ray **SPOILER ALERT** Tom was attracted to Francis (the brother) and enjoyed his masterful bullying behavior. But he had mixed feelings and tried to escape the farm, only to find that Francis had immobilised his car (wheels off & up on bricks). When he eventually escaped I felt it was left up to the viewer to wonder whether he left for good or went back to the farm to be with Francis (Francis reminded Tom of his dead lover since he smelt the same & his voice sounded very similar). The two of them dancing in the barn was brilliant; I've not seen such a sexy dance scene before in a gay film; made special for me since Francis appeared to be so masculine. I'm sorry I can't remember how Tom's boyfriend died; it may not be declared.
Oh well i thought he left the farm for good since he had the visit with the guy in green top and white jeans whose mouth was tore open by Francis. Tom was rather jilted by that he could'nt even look at the man so i think he left and this was after his confrontation with Francis in the farm towards the end.... thanks for the insight none the less. I would assume he left for good because abusive relationships are something i despise :)
+ryu ray Thanks, I had already forgotten about the bar scene and Tom's conversation with the bartender when he is told the reason why Francis was barred! You're right about abusive relationships; in my view they perhaps only work if the abuse is confined strictly to the bedroom with consent (and then it could be said that you like the person for the `wrong' reasons) or one's fantasies.
They may be ....... I watched the film again last night and in the scene near the end when Tom visits the gas station where the the guy in the green top and white jeans (whose mouth was tore open by Francis) works Francis is seen briefly with his feet up (no shoes, just socks) on a table as if he has caught up with Tom and is too at the gas station watching from behind as Tom gazes at the green top guy. So perhaps Tom is persuaded to live with Francis and run the farm together (the film is reminiscent of the film `God's own country' in some ways).

Díganme si ellos son hermanos
I wish they are together
That was not a healthy relationship he was so abusive and mean
I think it's good that they didn't get together and that Tom ran away, but a little kiss could have been😬
Maybe at the scene where Francis chokes Tom🥲
