My mother was from village Rachhin. She used to tell whatever she heard then at the time of attack on village Andloo. 'People cried enmass and it was so heart breaking that some of the people who had gone with the intention to kill the Muslims returned very sad. And there was one man with a rifle (pakki rifle) who covered all the villagers and no one dared to go near them.'

Most of the carnage was sponsored by the governments on both the sides of border. I do not think that people to people fight can force a party to leave their homes and villages. I have mentioned what I heard from my mother. The cries by women and children cause mental disturbance.
