Well, as the owner of this business, for 32 years now, I have had my share of problems and challenges. As you can imagine. Making a trailer for the best price AND quality is absolutely our #1 priority. We will continue making improvements as we have over the last 32 years, to the best of our ability. And to the best of our knowledge. We learn from people that come to us with problems. Some examples would be finding a fender manufacturer that has the ABILITY to make them more than double the thickness as we were using on the trailer a few years back. We have also went from a .125 angle where the axle hardware is mounted to a .250 material. Double the thickness. And have not heard of any problems. Speaking of the hardware, we use industry standard locking nuts, specifically engineered for trailer axles. Guess what? Not every nut and bolt are the same. So, what we can and have done is add red thread lock to every single bolt. Newest thing for 2024 is the location of the ramps. We do listen and learn from all of our customers, wholesale and retail alike. The ramps are now stored in the rear of our trailers. Pull out. Regarding the flexing you describe, this can happen to any trailer, steel or aluminum if precautions are not taken with proper load distribution. Another consideration might be the road we travel. We don't make those. We take people at their word on every situation. We have seen it all, I think. Fortunately, most of our customers are thrilled with their trailer. Do we still have issues arise? Of course we do. But if not given the opportunity to correct and or make it right, it is difficult if not impossible to please unhappy customers. I don't get to personally speak with every single customer. Far from it. But I can assure anyone, we will take care of you. I wish I knew how to copy and paste lots of pictures and notes of thanks we do get. I mean some impressive pictures and genuine thanks. There are alot of families that are affected with this review. Please take that into consideration and feel free to reach out to me personally. Lyle. 517-782-4950 or Lyle@wolverinetrailers.com. Thank you for helping me keep my nose to the grindstone and very best wishes to all that have read this.

My 2020 finally came in! Been watching all the review and any videos I can find for wolverine trailers, I’m not running away just because one guy had a bad experience it happens, every manufacturer for everything. Great video thanks for the insight I now know exactly what I should be looking forward towards 😂

Quite frankly, shocked! I've been admiring aluminum trailers, but this is a true nightmare. Surprised the manufacturer is not being sued for the design flaws, build flaws, and breach of warranty. Excellent job pointing out the FACTs and not just rambling opinions. Thank you sir.

I plan on posting my own video some day, but it will convey the same message. I'm 500 miles into a replacement trailer (the original, also with less than 500 miles, had over 14 major safety and other defects) and it is no better than the first. The biggest problem with the first trailer is that the brake calipers fell off and were flopping around on the discs, held only in place by the wheels and the brake lines. Really fun to find that out in the middle of a panic stop! They (Wolverine) don't torque any of the fasteners. Owner Lyle is not an engineer, so he doesn't believe in torquing fasteners. The new trailer is full of squeaks and rattles, and as I sort through it, I become scared to tow my boat. One of the calipers is already loose and will fall off. Best advice, cover your eyes, and back away from the lure of the low-priced Wolverine trailer.

Very nice looking trailers just don't plan on hauling anything heavy like tractors or Bobcats on them. Our frame just broke in front of the axel on both sides. Not going to be cheap putting it back together. When I was under there I noticed the brake wires connected with Scotch lock connectors. The true sign of quality lol. It will be for sale as soon as we get it patched up. They are great for side x sides, ATVs, light cars and trucks. Ours broke hauling less than 8000lbs only a couple times. Just because they have 10,000 lb. axels doesn't mean you can haul 10,000 lbs. Just my opinion.

Good info, really appreciate you posting videos like this. We were considering one of these 36' trailers for two Jeeps coming in at about 11,500 lbs total payload. Not even a consideration now because of your video.

Rob, We talked some time ago when you got your first Wolverine. I decided to go with the Maxey 36' Gooseneck drop and load. I love it and glad I decided not to go with the Wolverine. When you had issues with your first trailer I went in another direction. Anyone looking for a 36' auto hauler I do recomend the Drop and Load style. Sure make it easy to load and not having to deal with ramps.

Wow I’m really happy I seen in this video. You are right they are great looking trailers and with 6 tons of legal payload it sounds good until you actually go to use it. I guess if you have to have an aluminum trailer get a featherlight.....I like the Dexter neverlube axles the best.

I've had a 2019 Wolverine 34' tri-axle since new. So far, I've had to replace the axles and attachment plates and bolts. I've had several gusset plates installed at the stress points as well as several cracks repaired. We have removed the wood deck and replaced the deck screws with through-bolts. The rear transverse channel under the dovetail has crushed, and we have decided to just live with it. Looking to replace this one soon.

@@VICLIFE3DBL00H everything is high right now though. A 20' 14k equipment trailer could be found used last summer for 3-4, now it's hard to find one under 4500.
I think we will see deflation on many items like this by next summer, unfortunately I think we will see inflation on many other items such as food and utilities.
