Never mind the performance which is, as expected and as usual, out of this world, but the composition itself upon which you build the expression is outstanding - just how the hell do you come up with so many catchy hooks and phrases? Yeah, not every single note is played since I’m layering so much, and recording every single voice and part would just be a hot mess. So I’m playing mainly what’s the main gist of the parts. And some passages I’ve edited in post and made a little hard to play so it’s not always spot on.
Obviously I realized this was just some video-editing oopsy. 😀I was just surprised that my brain "told" me something was off here without me actually actively looking for it. I didn't even realize myself how much I expect certain keys to produce certain pitches. It's all subconscious weird music stuff.
Yeah kind of, as you saw. But remember that with these songs, it’s not a 16-track GM/SMF file that automatically sounds good on a SC-55 compatible module. I use up to 60-70 synths/modules/softsynths and way more than 16 tracks. So these MIDI-files you will have to play with and assign own sources to in your DAW. But they are available for a few bucks on Patreon. 😊

The JD-08 is more or less for show, I haven’t hooked it up permanently yet. The JD-800 is the main contender and used in this song too. ;)
