I respect what the doctor says but both my arm and feet didn't start waking up till year 2...yeah..year two. I've actually focused on stroke for many years with my job s a massage therapist. You can't believe everything a doctor tells you. I know the coping mechanism for disabled people but with stroke..yOU ARE JUST GOING TO HAVE TO WAIT, till you regain back the movement. Still though. exercise is the key because your retraining to brain the proper form for movement and obviously look good too haha. Oh, one more thing I had a major stroke, for those who want to know. It will be the hardest thing you've ever come across. It will test your patience and your well being....good luck. If I can do it...you can too!

Hi I want to ask if you could share some of the exercises that helped you because my dad had a major stroke and all of the doctors said that he can’t but I know he CAN

    56 year old male here.
In June of 2016 I suffered my third CVA. On August 18th of this year I suffered a major T.I.A.. And less than a week later on the 24th of August I had my fourth CVA. Recovery is all dependent of what part of the brain is hit and how much damage is done. So far I have been lucky. My recovery has never taken longer than a month.
To those who are still recovering: Don't give up the fight.

I'm a bit over 3 years since my major stroke.
It's only recently that I'm beginning to say to myself that I will survive and I will be happy .
A few things I cannot do but I didn't enjoy doing them anyway. Had to stop working. After a year of being alone I now feel that that life , that chapter has gone .
Be patient , go very very easy on yourself and wait .
    God bless.❤😂

Serious question how did it felt the moment it struck? Did you feel immense pain in the head? Were you losing consciousness?

I had a stroke, went to the hospital and the ER doc said definitely not a stroke and to see my PCP. I got a neurologist appointment 3 months later, which was this morning. He didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know and prescribed Lipitor and aspirin.

The background music isn't necessary for something so delicate and important
