I went to the same school as Ciarán Hinds . Like him I have also realised I was growing up very close to the street where Kenneth Branaghs family lived . Mountcollyer Street, Belfast was / is further down the limestone Road from where my family lived at the same time. In the film Buddy asks to go to the Capitol Picture house- that was where I saw most of my films as a boy . I was extremely moved by the film- in fact it is the only film during which I have cried
@@LacyThornton24 we left right at the top of the Limestone Road so I probably never knew anybody who lived down where the Branaghs lived .But the name Mountcollyer Street sounds very familiar. I think I passed it every time I walked down to the Grove baths ( The public swimming pool)
Enjoyed this movie so much! This interview solidifies my opinion that the cast really believed in this project, Sir Kenneth’s vision, and each other. Great interview!
Fabulous interview for an outstanding film, little Judes sweet little face was a picture! You could see how he watched, listened and took in all that was being said. You could also see the affection and genuine fondness he developed for Ken, Jamie , Cait, Ciaran and almost certainly for Judy Dench over the time of filming and working the promo's. We shall most definitely see much more of Jude on the silver screen in hefuture!
I cant wait to see the film its gonna be shown on Fri. the 21st of Jan. at the cinema here in Northern Ireland I must watch it by hook or by crook .. 💕💕

Loved the movie. Wish it was longer. Beatiful acting by the leads. Surprising it was filmed in black and white but enjoyable all the same.
