This song is so beautiful, the piano and his vocals are just heavenly. It makes me wanna cry, it feels like his music really resonates within me and its seriously the most beautiful music I've ever heard. I really hope more people listen to him, I honestly recommend him anytime I can.
While this song may be about death per se, it’s a very melancholic song that I happened to be listening to when someone I knew passed. It’s hard, to lose someone you worked with and were getting to know, especially everything he was dealing with prior to his death. I played this after I left his funeral, and while it stung, seeing all his wonderful memorabilia on display and accepting that he’s gone gave a sort of personal connection with this song. It’s a bittersweet thing, knowing you won’t see them again, but you can be happy going forward, knowing they’re looking down on you, smiling. I know this was depressing, just wanted to share my thoughts, since I lost the person a couple weeks ago. Thanks to those who read this far.
