bro I think you should get new tyres for thar go for AT tyres , I have thar to I got goodyear wrangler AT/SA 245/70/R16 111T and they perform really good .
Arpanjit Grewal AT's are better but not in this terrain. HT are as competent here. Do 247/70 not touch the wheel arches on full articulation, curious? and with already tall gearing these profile increase the rolling circumference even more.
Anshuman, would the Yokohama Geolanders or Continental Cross Contact AT tyres have fared better here? Or would they have run the risk of getting their sidewalls torn, like several reports on teambhp complain? Also for non extreme but frequent off roading are the stock Duellers sufficient?
On this surface A/T would have slight advantage, in Mud they have clear advantage over Dueler HT. In our usage Cross Contact, Geolandar and Scorpion A/T have fared at par, all in terms of grip, durability and puncture resistance. We have not seen any first hand cases of sidewall failure on Yokos.
nitin rathi there were no issues with the clearance. this obstacle required precision because there was a ditch on either side with little room to steer hence no speed or momentum.

Anshuman Bishnoi Anything about Goodyear wrangler A/T?
Thar needs off road bumper so that i can carry a bit more momentum in such tricky obstacles without worrying about damaging front or rear OEM bumpers.
