I have just about the same testimony when it comes to depression. Suffered from that and suicidal thoughts for many years until God delivered me.

@@jennydas8049 Well it helps to have a pastor that will pray with you. That means you need to have the same attitude as he has about your recovery....make sure he's concecrated( seeks and goes after the mind of Christ.) Also fasting on the word of God brings out the power of God in you as you are God's child. Oh and are you born again?

Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Proverbs 4 example of instructions on medicine bottle, we need the word of God for our directions!
1. Give reading and meditating on Gods word your undivided attention.
2. Incline your ear to the Lord. Allow God to be my teacher and I am the student. Be teachable.
3. Focus don’t let there be distractions. Eye and ear gates.
4. Guard your heart, source of life. Input/output, what comes in, is what comes out.

38:22 The value of anything is what people will pay for it. If you have a house, and you want to sell the house, and the real estate dealer tells you it's worth $300,000, but nobody will pay more than $220, 000. So the real value of that house is not $300,000 it's $220,000.
The real value of a thing is what people will pay for it. Now what's your value; how do you discover your value? By finding out what God paid for you. God bought you in the most valuable thing in the universe. The blood of Jesus. So that's your real value: what God was willing to pay for you. Don't let people give you a sense of inferiority. Don't measure yourself by other people. Don't listen to all sorts negativity.
But just say: I am infinitely valuable in the sight of God because God bought me with the most valuable thing in the universe, the blood of Jesus. That's how valuable I am.
(Spending time in the Bible will help you know your own value. Listening to God's love for you will help you know how valuable you are. )

48:04 Jesus said if you keep my word my Father & I will come and make our home with you. The word is God in person coming into our life.
☆If you want to know what your attitude to God is, find out what your attitude to His word is, because that's your attitude to God. You do not love God more than you love His word. You do not obey God more than you obey his word. You do not have more room in your life for God than you have for his word. So if you want to know how much God means to you, find out how much His word means to you, that's the answer. Because the word is the way God comes into our lives!
God doesn't want us frightened but he wants us reverent. He wants a sense of awe. One of the phrases used frequently in the Bible is the fear of the Lord. That doesn't mean we're afraid of being punished, it means we have a tremendous sense of awe....
There is nothing that carries greater promises of blessing in the whole Bible, than the fear of the a Lord!
The Bible says that the Lord tends to life and he that has is will abide satisfied and will not be visited with evil.
