I want to make a pouch for my grandma who also needs to have her readers glasses with it. I have a strap, I want to make this for her because has trouble finding the phone & glasses; so if they are attached and on a strap it would help so much.

I tried this patern, its nice, my work is in perfect rectangle, but why is the joining side is not vertically in straight line.

When you crochet in rounds, the joining is usually slant. Its definitely not an error on your part, that's how it is.
