Hi Harry you are so talented , you showed by turning this piece of wood which is really lovely and you turned a magnificent, unique and beautiful piece. This is why I always watch you videos they are wonderful. Thanks for a great video can't wait for your next on well done Harry. Amanda xx
Come on Harry, this isn't the content I subscribed for! Never lose your touch! I thought: "Hey, maybe he's gonna make a bowl!" "Maybe it's a desktop stationery holder!" yet, by the end, I was just confused... What is it meant to be? The craftsmanship is CERTAINLY there. For what it's worth, it does look quite striking. In my opinion, this is just a waste of some good lumber. What did you see in this when you made it? I'm sorry if I come off as rude here, I'm just very passionate about the work you exhibit here. It's normally top-notch, so I was just surprised to see such a 180 in terms of utility here. I wish you well but please, listen to your heart here. No matter how good it is, who will admire it in the future? 5 years, 10? It's odd! -Gus
That turned out to be a very nice oak bowl. I wonder if Milliput comes in a form that can have coloring agent added to it? The black is okay but could have blended in a bit better. Most of it got turned away. 😊👍👍
A really great project and a mega result. I have a question. What is that plasticine you used? What is the surface treated with and is it waterproof and food safe?
...awesome, Harry...just awesome...👍

Love the risky pieces of wood you start with, my lathe is not stable enough to work with such large pieces. I need a beefier one for that for sure.
Great job!
amazing! beautiful
You could be risking life and limb with wood like that.
You never know if a bit will fly off or when!😊
.
Awesome work! It’s beautiful! I was wondering what gouge where you using to turn the outside of this amazing beauty?

You never disappoint!👍👍👍
♥️♥️♥️
Thanks for posting this video. I enjoyed the process and skill this took.......just not a very attractive piece.
Wow, that's a crack'in piece! It cool seeing the tool as the ends are spinning. Is that a resin putty? Greg
Dude I am less than 20 seconds in and you need a grinder.
