What do you guys think of this one?
Will you be changing anything about how you manage your own mental health?
Any other tips you use that I haven't listed?

I have only since the pandemic begun to look after my mental health. I am now so conscious of having a daily self care routine to maintain it which I find really helps. Big ones for me are meditation, journalling, healthy living and generally being more aware of my thoughts and how I am treating myself.

@@allwellandgood8547 Great suggestions! I know so many people that utilise journaling to help their mental health. Anything that slows things down and helps us become more aware of our process is a big win. 😊👍🏻

I have recently recognized the value in listening to my subconscious. Not only listening but responding appropriately. It has made a world of difference in my mental health overall. My Crew was always screaming orders at the Captain. I stopped allowing the Crew to be in charge and started thinking through options. It has been very good for me.

Keeping your mind well when you are well is key. Keep walking outside, keep listening to music, keep reading or listening to podcasts etc. When we feel 'ok and back on track we let the things we did to get back on track slip. A lesson is that everyday is key to maintaining your emotional balance so try not to let it slip down by not doing daily, emotional maintenance x

Loz, I absolutely agree. It’s so easy to let things slide when we’re doing well. As you say, the daily self care is the key. 😊👍🏻

Thanks for this video, Tim! I am really thankful for stumbling upon your TED Talk thus following your channel. Grateful for your work and wisdom.
Per your question at the end of this video, i have actually been practicing good mental health habits since the last half of this year. I know it's a lifetime thing to do but I think I've improved a bit. So yeah, i guess instead of changing those things as a result of watching thing this video, it's more like continuing these good mental habits that I have established and seek more meaningful happiness in life.
Again, thank you and stay safe always!

Luisa, thanks so much for this comment. You’re right, the self care is ongoing. Sometimes the improvements seem minor and sometimes barely noticeable but I’m a big fan of giving ourself credit for heading in the right direction. When we’re going in the right direction every step is priceless. 😊

This is another invaluable video presentation. I love how you push home these vital points such as self care and "stop beating yourself up". The latter is something that many of us still need to work on. I certainly will.
    A brilliant video. Thanks Tim.
