depending on usage honestly, I do 2 weeks once. don't leave for a long time because it forms bacteria, usually, the compressor inside helps evaporate the water from the drain what we do is excess of that basically.

P1 means your bottom tray water level is full and you need to drain, Carefully move the unit to a drain location, remove the bottom drain plug and let the water drain away.
Restart the machine until the “P1” symbol should disappear, Thank you
