Wow, excellent info. Cheers from Canada. This is an Analog Mixer, correct. Now in 2022 which Input will take Line Out or To Headphones from an Android phone, say a Karaoke Track?
I recently bought this mixer, but I cant find the AC Adapter anywhere. I believe it is a PSU4 AC Adapter. I don't know if they stopped making them but it is really frustrating.
Hey!.. nice review, I just bought this one and also an MXL 770 which I think you have also reviewed before. I plan to record my voice on ableton, instead of what I normally use which is my mac's internal microphone, Would you know how to connect all of these into ableton for a maximum performance?.. thanks!
I have a Tascam DP-01FX, but it only allows recording into two channels at once. I want to track drums through several microphones, but mix them down to stereo so they will only take one channel in my 8-track. Would you recommend this mixer for recording drums in stereo? (I hope that all made sense...)
Hey is it possible to get a stereo signal out for headphones? The only way I can get it in stereo is via the RCA "Tape out" jacks, but this doesnt mute the main mix out, which defeats the purpose I have for it. Would be great if you could suggest work-around as I've just gotten new headphones and want to listen in stereo now, without upgrading my mixer. Thankyou:)
Actually, what I think Ive been doing all these years is using FX to Control room to enable listening to headphones while the main slider is down.. and this comes in as mono. Is there any way of listening to the headphone output and muting the main output. I'm sorry if this sounds all confused - I guess my question is this: "is there any way of listening to the headphone output while muting the main?" The only way I have been able to do this is by using FX to control room.. which is a mono signal path.
Renny Gamarra I wouldn’t avoid an audio interface. The audio interface is the only thing that will give you multiple, separate recording inputs into your computer.
My routing for this mixer to pc for recording and monitoring the same time: Mixer Line out------->Pc Line in Pc Speaker/Line out-------->Tape in Headphone-------->well,to my headphones ;) Controlroom out-------->Monitor Speakers or normal Pc Speakers press "Tape to Controlroom" in and all others out. well, thats it.Now you can record and listen to without feedbacks. btw this little cheap Mixer is a very good Amp for Headphones.
How would you know it gives you a "clean, high grade, audio signal"? You didn't bother to track anything with it and compare it to other mixers. Pretty lame review... this doesn't even qualify as a product demo. This is an "unboxing" at best
I want to use the board for recording but not for performing. How do I connect a comp./ lim. to it. The mxr. has an F/X send but no return.
I’d like to know more about the tape in and out and all its options.

Does this even have anything to do with Eurorack synths?
Interesting! I have a question Can I avoid interface audio having this mixer?
