Practice Naming Fractions | Reading Fractions for Kids

Learn to read fractions by practicing along with these fun characters from Rock ’N Learn. First, look at the object. Count the total number of parts. That will be the denominator. Then, count the parts that are a color other than black, white, or gray. That will be the numerator. Try to say the fraction out loud before the characters.
