Muchas gracias! If you door is like mine, the tension on the spring is WAY stronger than the sheet metal that the door is made from. I ended up breaking my door trying to pry on that spring. Better method, remove the spring from the door (I had to partially compress mine by hand to do so), put it in a bench vice, and THEN crack on it just like the video shows. (I had no luck with a big screwdriver--ended up using a ratchet strap looped over the end).
