Don Hansen would have to be one of the most inspiring private investors I know of. His thinking at his age gives me much hope for my own thinking at that age.
Always a great guest Charlotte. Yes I did invest in a number of Don's recommended stocks (quite late - K92, Aya, Aris included) but lost a significant amount of money. I think they could all come back but the timing is critical. I've learned timing is everything in gold and silver stocks, and getting that right is very very difficult. A point to note: Don is assuming all in costs to produce gold over the period of Sept. 2023 to Sept. 2024 remained the same at $1,300 / oz. which isn't right because there was inflation over that period - not a huge amount but likely 10 to 15 percent.
Charlotte! You are literally the last PMs channel I still listen to. Such a calm demeanor and sleepers like this guy, Don. I'm always happy after I've listened to his interviews with you. Wisdom and long term experience. I love it, thank you!! Keep up the great work, Girl!!!
@21:15 as a kid in the 60s , ( free range kid ) I had Real silver in my pocket real copper . For 3 cents you could get some good candy , for 5 cents you could get really good candy . Coke bottles were glass & the return fee was about 2 cents . It didn't take a kid long to find a few coke bottles. Less litter better quality food . Things were different , sound money !
Aya is my largest single holding. I never bought over 10 but I never thought it would be at this level again. I’m advancing my paycheck to get more tomorrow.
Excellent content! I have a large holding in AYA and a smaller holding in Aris. The CEO of Aya is very smart. He sold his previous gold miner in North Africa and was originally not very interested in starting a new operation in Morocco. Fortunately for all concerned he changed his mind.
I have K92 and Aya. I lost 20% on Aya earlier in the year. I bought back in lower but yesterday 20th Dec Aya plummeted on atypical large volume, so I am even worse off. Nonetheless I think someone is selling out or has hopefully sold out. Aya is a bargain now so I will buy more.
Bought and sold Aris several times over the last year. As long as miners are in an upswing and I buy back lower, it all works out. Will give KNTNF GMINF & AYASF a good looking over and maybe a buy.
Exactly what I was thinking! Since inflation is measured in dollars and so is the GDP. So, if inflation is, say 3% and GDP growth is at 1.5%, then doesn’t that mean that the GDP growth is actually NEGATIVE (ie. recession) because our buying power is falling faster than the economy is expanding?
❓ Have you invested in any of Don's favorite stocks? Tell us in the comments!
This is a great interview. He's so easy to understand. Draws his own dot plots, what an absolute legend.

Bravo, THANK YOU, we need an intelligent advisor why doesn't he mention bigger miners we can buy on our brokers like Robinhood or webull
Nice work Mr. Hansen; further confirmation of the govt malfeasance machinations.

My Gold and Silver plays are B2Gold and First Majestic Silver.

What was the record date ?
10 years ago, yesterday, 10 years later. The message will always be the same for the miners.
