    Good day Adrian.
I just successfully mailed the groove 0.0200 deep across a piece of aluminum using techniques I’ve learned from your channel. I mounted fixture plate to my cross slide and clamped vice to it .and used my chuck to hold endmill . I may try it again with my collet holder. Your videos are very helpful. I’ll give you the credit for most of my success. The next thing you’re going to teach me is how to make a fly cutter.

Another rotary table hack - Sometimes you have something too big for the top of the rotary table that you don't want to drill mounting holes in the central area. In those situation, outriggers come to the rescue. Basically mine are 3/4in thick, 1in wide bars, with 2 holes at one end for use with T-nuts on the table, and threaded holes drilled on the other ends to use with your holddown clamps. At least on my rotary table, the outriggers give me an additonal 6 inches of reach for the holddowns and they also act as spacers to keep you away from the rotary table top. Depending on the stock you get, you may need to mill the top and bottom surfaces so they are flat and parallel
    Take care -
    John

I really like how that came out and how all the accessories fit to it. I like how you think. And I like your idea for the mist coolant holder - I tried to cheap out on my mill mister but am not happy with it now so will probably make a base for it similar to yours. Nicely done!

The Air mister looks good but it moves with the table instead of staying on the cutter so you will be forever moving it as you cut, Add a rod and use the hole for the dti you made.

Nice job on the quill plate and DTI holder. One question: don't you need your mist coolant nozzle to remain stationary relative to the z axis in order to keep it directed at the cutter?

That was superb. I enjoyed every second. You are an inspiration. Every part you make is a piece of precision engineering, right down to the smallest nut. The mist coolant holder was a joy. I've heard mist coolant can be hazardous as you can breath it in. Any truth in that?
Keep well and hope to see another video soon. Loved the ending!

    Hi Ade,
came across your site recently, havnt been off it yet! i've subscribed as well! Catching up with your content. Really well presented if you dont mind me saying so. I'm a Welsh lad myself, coming up to retirement and looking to set up a little workshop in my garage for a hobby. I work in your neck of the woods. I'm working on making a model of the White Bridge behind B&Q in Carmarthen, you probably know it. Very early stages at the moment, doing the research and looking for some drawings but no luck as yet. Yje current situation does not help either.
Anyway, really enjoying your content and thank you for posting your work.
    regards
    Gareth

Hi Ade and everyone doing this project, I was looking for a better way to adjust the depth stop and found that on the Bridgeports they use what is referred to as an "Educated Nut". I found the following video that shows a gentleman describe how he made his and it is straight forward. I made one and what a difference in usability of the quill stop. Here is the video which is very short: th-cam.com/video/dApjOiTNt-Y/w-d-xo.html&feature=emb_logo
    All the best,
    Bruce
