EXCELLENT idea! Man, when sourcing and price checking and then click sell similar on one of the listings to have a draft pretty much ready to go! I am old and I need all the help I can get haha! Thank you! 🤘
I watch all your videos and haven't found a guy who preaches the truth in a while. The fact that you are a reseller who makes youtube content that is just awesome.
When I get someone who I think is a bad buyer I will end the item then relist it. Normally they just move on. That is a great idea about the draft thing for a few days.
A note. "Cutouts" and "promotional" copies are things I know something about. Sometimes they have the same signs physically. "promotional" copies might have a cutout or punch or chopped corner, but in my experience were -always- stamped or embossed with a "for promotion only" marking and stamping on them. Usually review copies or most like radio station copies. Cutouts were excess stock that was written off the books and didn't count for real sales. They have the ugly slice or punch hole in them, but nothing marking them as "promotional". In a collector's eyes, a cutout means something that the label threw away after they decided it cost more to stock the record or cd or tape than they would ever recoup. Promo copies are cool! Cutouts... a sign of failure... Also, CRC and BMG copies of things , to me at least, have less cachet/worth.
Hi Paige, thanks for the great videos. It's great to see somebody that appreciates tabletop games. I play Hero Clix. Once again thanks for all the reselling videos!
I had someone buy something from me and their address didn't exist according to the post office. I tried to contact them and then contacted Ebay when they didn't et back to me at all after a couple days. Ebay told me I could just put wrong address and end the item. So I did. 2 weeks later they bought the item again and I had to cancel it again. I'm tempted now to block them. Sounds a bit like the customer you had that you really didn't want to deal with. Chatty customers don't bother me unless they are serious negative ones and time wasters. I'm always looking for more efficient ways to list items. My computer and internet tend to be bit laggy at times so it can taka while to list items.
I think there are some people that have addresses that "Don't exist" but still work anyway. There was a very popular arcade parts vendor I bought from for many years who only took payment the old school check in the mail method. If you googled his address the street didn't even exist. Somehow he still got all his checks though.
I sometimes have half-finished drafts in my draft bank and it gets rather confusing.... eg photo's not done or I need to fix something. Sometimes I put a star at the end of my SKU to show me when a listing is complete and ready for launch. Do you ever use Scheduled Listings?
Scheduled listings didn't become free until I already had a really successful set of rules I operated by so I never really considered them. Probably be worth doing if you were REALLY going to be away for multiple days.
How many listings can be in the draft bank? Other eBay you tubers say you have to take new photos to revive old listings…eBay recognizes the old photos and suppress listing.
5000 drafts if you use seller hub, although it will only show 1000 of them. The new photos thing is an algorithm thing and is really only applicable to things like clothes, jewelry, antiques and other items without exact names.
@@onefootflipper thank you….I think it would be cool if there was an app you could use for a draft bank…one to be safe from eBay glitches ….two to reduce the cost of a store subscription
I hate to do this but I disagree with you about the drafts. You can't sell drafts so I list everything and I do not list everyday nor do I list consistently and we seem to do the same amount of sales each month. I could be wrong and its not a hill I want to die on but I just list it so it can sell!
New subscriber here. Just letting you know your efforts and advice are appreciated. I’m curious as to how you track your inventory and keep sales records. Maybe you could do something about that in a video someday.
There is almost nothing to mention there. You see people talk about elaborate bookkeeping and item by item accounting usually because they are being paid to do so. I don't do item by item accounting, only money in and money out.
This seems to be a fairly well studied area by the larger sellers and does indeed seem to work. For some reason listing 20 items a day for 2 weeks outperforms listing 280 items one day and nothing for 13 days. I don't know how much is algorithm and how much is other factors.

So glad you found the lost drafts!!
It definitely reduced my stress level.

I try my best and appreciate that you are always there in the comments.
Your sell similar tip is genius! Will definitely use that going forward
Glad it was helpful!

The draft thing really makes it just 100 percent go away. I have relisted immediately and had the same person crop right back up.

I have cut-outs of lots of great albums too. I guess they never knew when that multiplatinum album was going to stop selling.
thanks for getting to the point quickly. All my drafts I worked hard on dissapeared.
Oh my.

I have yet to end up with a Hero Clix collection. Hopefully someday soon.
I’m sorry but eBay should fix that. You should be able to see all your drafts at any given time. Thanks for the follow up
Hopefully now that I reported it to them it will get fixed.
Awesome video! Saving this one too since you mention several tips I either didn't know or ever thought about, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I never knew you could bank drafts! Wow thanks this will help tremendously!
Happy to help!
Great video, I just ordered your death pile monster.
Awesome. He will go out tomorrow.
Yeah for deathpile monsters sales. I don’t do a lot of drafts but great information. 😊
I kind of had to make my next video about drafts since the last video problem got solved so quickly.
Thanks!
And thank you as well!
Thanks for the video great information 👍

Very informative video thanks buddy keep them coming. !
One of my Grandaughters has subscribed and we both love seeing your daughter in the videos.
I will be sure and let her know, she never believes me that she has fans.

I haven't seen Mean girls and ages. I don't remember the d*** freaking movie.
And I never caught my general idea I was talking about until a rewatch a few years ago.
I will ditto the keeping it real comment 👍
Thanks!
🤘🤘Thx!
draft banks.... Are people really stopping their items from hitting the open market due to some theory about an algorithm?
This seems to be a fairly well studied area by the larger sellers and does indeed seem to work. For some reason listing 20 items a day for 2 weeks outperforms listing 280 items one day and nothing for 13 days. I don't know how much is algorithm and how much is other factors.
@@onefootflipper 0 items sell that aren't listed on the site is the thing. I'm a large clothing seller as well. 200k+ in sales in 2022.
Sounds like you are doing great with whatever your process is. I would be inclined to keep it the same myself.
