Honestly i think the jp cn kr ones fit his character the most. The en direction fits the predicament he was in.

The Chinese one fits his character the most because his voice direction was developed in conjunction with writing the actual game, not just a translation with a voice director uninvolved in development.

Sometimes the way of the dubs of the same character may have a subtle character difference in between languages. I would say Dan Heng is one of them. Gonna say, I love how Nicholas did the English version with pain and embarrassment, while everyone just did theirs seriously to be the "wise monkey".

People love to shit on the EN dub and look down upon people who use them but so far the only dub that's able to have both comedic moments such as these or heart wrenching moments with so much emotion and soul is the EN dub lol
Not saying the other dub is bad of course, it's just the EN dub has a bit more of a personality, for me atleast
My favorite is personally JP because of how much it fits Dan Heng's character. ENG is really funny but compared to the other dubs he feels... to show more emotion? I don't know, I just feel like it doesnt suit him that much. (No hate to any VA. They all did great in their own way)
Yeahh Dan Heng isn't someone who would visibly cringe that easily when he has put up with tb and march and their antics for so long now. Saying the silliest stuff with a deadpan expression and without a hint of emotion is just super in character because it's just another Monday in the AE for him.
