Hello Andy, the jib booms on both of my boats changed my racing. Because of my coordination a lot of races were me minimising mistakes and loses. But with these jib booms I could compete with the big boys!! I could go into depth on performance but to keep this reply short I will say, top end speed was probably a little faster, the only down side was acceleration off of a start line. But just keep moving was the way around the slow acceleration!!
