I bought two HB's in last 6 months to mod....TE-52 (close to 10 f'ing pounds, bruh!!) and 62DB (7.5 pounds) ...both with meticulous neck/frets...overall all great QA. Better than both CV50's I also got last year. If it's set up to your taste...and you're happy with the look/playability...drop in a set of Fralin or Lollars....GREAT pups. I have an LSL TBoneOne and a Custom Shop which sound/play amazing...and can say that a HB or even a Squier CV50 set up right, brass saddles (DO sound better, warmer to me), and boutique pups makes for a budget guitar that will best a stock TeleMex, and can compare favorably with a USA...in fact, I'm selling my ProI 2 Tele right now...Lefty. Neck pup will clear up NICELY if you simply disconnect it from the tone pot...I've done that to all my 10 Teles...even CS. Really nice easy and delightful mod. Roswell's are OK...neck is muddy. Great vid! Buzz could be a matter of tweak to truss rod, and/or careful hammer tapping the high fret.

Fretbuzz is not always a bad thing, as long as the chords ring clear in the amp. Everything is a compromise.

It’s ok but tuners are really cheap. Whenever you get to the point where you need to change the strings you will find that the holes where the ends of the strings go in is very shallow. 🤦‍♀️👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼FAIL ALERT!!!!!🚨

You can put a small dab of crazy glue on the String Ferrules to keep them in its a common problem.

That is a fairly normal amount of fret buzz for the action you are using.
One thing to make sure is right is that you have the appropriate amount of neck relief. 9/10 times that’s the culprit with my guitars.
If there’s still buzz, to decrease this, you have options before taking a file to the frets:
    1. Raising the action
The heights you cited were quite low. A tiny, near-imperceptible tweak in height can make a big difference to the sound.
    2. Use thicker strings
This is just physics: a thicker string will be tighter at the same pitch as a thinner one, so the thicker string’s vibration will have a smaller range, ergo slapping against the frets less.
Enjoyed the video, and I hope this helps!

Thanks for the comment! I actually ended up putting the original bridge back on, bought a feeler gauge, action ruler and radius gauge, slightly tweaked the relief using the feeler gauge and that made my setup problems disappear, I measured the heights again and have 1.6mm on the low e and 1.2 on the high e with practically 0 fret buzz now!

Thank you for the review! A bit of feedback: please consider turning the volume down when you are speaking, all that hum and noises are a bit annoying.

Thanks for the review! I'm thinking about getting back to playing guitar with that Tele. It looks hella pretty!

Nice review man. I got the Black DB version and it’s pretty nice so far. Gonna switch out the bridge like you did as well. The action is a tiny bit higher than I would like, but I get zero fret buzz at all. My other electric is a Jackson where I had a luthier basically have it laying on the frets. It buzzes, of course, but with high-gain stuff it’s less of an issue.
