Thank you, Angie, for a great WIP parade! You really inspire me with your willingness to experiment with your work, and change things up - they always turn out fabulous. And, I want to thank you belatedly for inspiring me to try “etoile” thread. A long time ago, you made a video where you showed “Christmas Delivery “, and you were stitching Santa’s jacket in etoile. I was stitching the same piece, had finished the jacket, but, inspired by you, went out and got some etoile and did the big sack in it, and the star at the top of the tree in the gold. Wow! So happy with how it turned out, just a subtle sparkle, and the thread so easy to stitch with (unlike most others used to give some sparkle). Thank you! Keep up the good work - you may even give me the courage to try changing colours or patterns.
Your Mayflower piece is so amazing! Beautiful job charting your ship! Oh I have to get on board with the motifs. I’d like to do that into a pillow. I started Strawberry Fields Forever yesterday to commemorate 60 years since Beatles performed on Ed Sullivan which I remember sitting in front of the TV, glued to it.
I’m always happy when you post a new video. All of your WIPS are beautiful. Your WIP that has always been my favorite is Let Freedom Ring by Lila’s Studio. I majored in early American history in college so anything that has to do with that subject always makes me happy to see. I would love to see it when you finish it. That is one huge project.
