    Hello. I've only had these hearing aids for a few days and I was wondering do you have to have a clip play any music or wireless calls... for an Android phone?

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need the Connect Clip to connect to Android unless you have one of the newest Android devices. I would check with Oticon's website for compatibility with Android phones.

    Hello there, I wondering how I can find more function, like you can use as a headphone?
    My hearing aids is Opn S 1 miniRITE

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      With the OPN S1 they should connect directly to an iPhone through the accessibility function. With an Android you would have to use the Connect Clip

    Hi I was wondering can you do this this with Atla 2? Hope to hear from you soon and Have a Good Day Today! 🙏♥️🌻🍀🏁🏆🙌

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Alta 2 were not compatible with Bluetooth without the Oticon Streamer. You would have to use that around your neck to connect to Bluetooth. The Oticon OPN and newer platforms connected directly with your iPhone. With an Android they would need the Connect Clip.

      @@nusratkhan723 Hi Nusrat. I'm not sure if I understand what you are asking. If you have a 60dB hearing loss on the audiogram (or moderate-to-severe/severe), I would recommend stronger hearing aids (Oticon XCEED, Phonak Naida, or ReSound ENZO). I think you will get the best sound and best improvement overall with more powerful devices).

    Hello I have Oticon Alta 2 Pro I ask you if can I use the android APP for my model? Thanks in advance

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Unfortunately the Alta Pro are one of Oticon's older models and those are not compatible wiht the Oticon ON app. You may be able to use them with a streamer pro to pair to bluetooth, but you have to wear it around your neck.

    If by use connect clips it's will be more expensive and more need charger and battery more I think it's unstable and so bad if compared with other hearing aids or iOS devices

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, we believe Oticon is coming out with a product that connects to android without the connect clip soon. Android is harder to keep up with for manufacturers because there are so many different types of Android devices. Apple devices use the same operating systems. We hope it will change in the future, but we understand your frustration.

    • @Happyearshearingcenter

      Hi Will, the iPhone 6s or newer will connect directly to the Oticon Devices for direct streaming. If you have an Android only specific phones are compatible for streaming. The link for compatibility with Oticon can be found here www.oticon.com/support/compatibility

    what is the connectclip for?

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The connect clip is a device that makes the Oticon devices hands free. It also acts as a companion microphone for situations where there is quite a bit of background noise. If you pair it to the bluetooth on the phone, you don't have to hold your phone and speak into it.

    • @Happyearshearingcenter
      @Happyearshearingcenter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. That doesn't sound normal for them to disconnect that quickly. Do you turn your bluetooth off at all during the day? I know Android phones can be spotty when it comes to hearing aid apps, but they should stay connected. I would probably follow-up with your audiologist if this continues to happen because there may be an issue with the internal antenna.

      You can use them as headphones to hear music, however, with an Android phone you will need to get the Connect Clip to make that happen. Unfortunately, the Oticon devices do not connect directly to Android yet for streaming.

      @@nicoletaladunca4050 yes and no. Some support ASHA, which is available in a variety of smartphones that are Android 10 and above, but support is hit and miss. Google Pixels are generally good for compatibility, and most devices that have Android 13 should be OK
      I don't understand why they can't just add support for standard protocols though. Bluetooth LE should be fine for most situations, a third party device just for streaming audio is a joke
