Lucky, I'm sure smelling only half that stuff would overwhelm me big time.
Anyway, seems like the plot really is thickening. I'm stoked to find out how this will get handled (and how this human working together with this demon will affect their relationship and dynamic). Also, it was cool getting to learn yet another simple form of magic (according to magic users in this universe).
Amazing job as always Atonal! I'm excited to find out what will happen next!

I like how nobody in the comments is the least bit creeped put nby Gary knowing where we LIVE. No, he knows our name, and face, but the weird thing is HE KNOWS WHERE WE LIVE. THAT'S THE CREEPY THING IN ALL THIS. Also tf, gerald? GERALD. WHO IN HELLS NAME, no pun intended, NAMES THEIR CHILD GERALD. God like-I mean that in a nice but also concerned wtf kinda way.
Also I know I'm late, but when you go to bed an hour after this posts and you're offline by when it DOES post, you can't help but be just a little late lol.
