As a black belt in ninjutsu I can say that only a small amount of his attacks fit with taijutsu. (Sui No Kata 1:24 in a few spots as well as variations of Huko 0:41) but almost all of the kicks used are of what looks like a mix of Taekwondo and Kung Fu. Here's a few others I noticed: Jumonji No Kata 2:00 (Raven's idle stance is a Jumonji variant which is a cross arm stance) Fu No Kata 2:08 Fu No Kata variant 2:12 Ku No Kata 2:26 Tsuki with Shitan Ken variant 2:53 Koyoku? 2:58 Huko 3:09 Fu No Kata 3:11 Koyoju/Chi No Kata 3:17 Looks like Kata Ashi Hishigi in Jujutsu/Judo 3:41 You can look these up on TH-cam under Bujinkan or whaever.for reference.
1:57 attack no. 057 called Labyrinth is not actually an attack but instead a transition to back turn stance. In the video he did chakram (f+3+4) instead of Labyrinth {b+3+4 ( Back turn stance)}
I picked him up myself weeks ago. Bloody slow as all hell, but I like having surprises up my sleeve. Hopefully I'll learn to use more of his repertoire, because right now I cant even hope to get someone using kazuya to half health lol...
Hopefully Raven will return in Tekken 7. His ninjitsu movelist and style are very different from the rest of the ninja casts. And he still can play a role in the story.
That's the thing. Experienced people KNOW that Raven is never actually open. The "Openness" fools people into rushing in, and that given Raven another attack strategy. I have tested this theory on my brother many times, and he is a Master of King and Armor King!

i wish they would have kept those awesome shadow clone effects when they transferred his moveset to master raven
Seriously. It's so stupid that she doesn't have the coolest looking move. Just as stupid as leaving Lei out of T7.
DLC, now 😎
@@reduXstereoMaster Raven doesn't deserve these cool moves
Gosh so many of ravens moves were rejected in tekken 7 , ho raven was the wrost in there .

I love using the doppleganger moves as my combo finishers. Just for the cool factor
The Shadow Clone Jutsu?
I love his Haze stance
Just here to figure out the differences between Raven and Master Raven
dra631 i miss old raven
@@greentea1207 I know, it seems like the old Raven had more moves
@@dra631 the clone gimmick also shuriken kick is gone i guess
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - Raven Video Movelist
Seems good raven players are coming back noting el Negro and the Phantom. Excellent Raven players

Mike Hawk you fought a lot of kazuya of your players then?
I did it's not nearly as hard now as long as I don't miss lol
I don't know why they removed him from Tekken 7
He was one of my favourite characters
He's baaaack
kinda makes sense actually, i remember myself spamming those attacks on tekken 5 :p they were pretty op
Hopefully Raven will return in Tekken 7. His ninjitsu movelist and style are very different from the rest of the ninja casts. And he still can play a role in the story.
takarifan Raven himself doesn't return, but his fighting style does in the form of his mentor, Master Raven.
Russell Jensen And much stronger than original Raven
I want this Raven back. Master Raven doesn't have the double vision or cold grave move. There might be some others missing as well.
@@reduXstereo Raven had developed some of those moves on his own. Master Raven does not have the "Single Shadow Clone Jutsu"
Up All Night Hope he is in TEKKEN 7 !
And he did not appeared in tekken 7
are his doppelgangers supposed to look kinda laggy or is myxbox fucked up
ha bárbaro para pelear Raven muy bueno me alegraque en tekkentag tournament haya aparecido
oh ok thx. got a little worried there for a sec.
It's sad that most of Raven's moves are useless since they leave him open and unsafe.
SynClaiR He's still pretty fun to use regardless. And his Chakram combos are actually pretty useful alongside his Sudden Strike kick (f,f+3).
Russell Jensen Once you learn him yes. I personally prefer his ⬅2,2,3, his ↗4,4, and his ↘4, (3+4).

I so love this creation. good entertainer though moves can be slow when facing fast opponents like Law
Thank u so much its very work on XBOX 360 🔥

The dude looks like Blade.

Do you have movelist for Tekken 5?
Raven is cool, I like her techniques and dress style.
