Exciting Monsoon Getaway Near Mumbai and Pune - MALSHEJ Ghat !!

If you are from either Pune or Mumbai and looking forward for some amazing weekend getaway, then this is the place you should be going this monsoon!!

Location: Malshej Ghat, NH-222, Maharashtra.
Located around 130Kms North-East of Pune and around 150 Kms South-East of Mumbai, Malshej Ghat lies in the Pune District and is one of the best places to visit during monsoons, the road itself turns heavenly and provides some breathtaking views.
Best time to visit here is from mid-July to mid-September.

Malshej ghat is on Kalyan-Ahemad nagar highway NH-61. 133 Kms away from Nasik. and 63 Kms away from Kasara ghat on NH-3, Mumbai-Nasik-Agra highway. Nasik-Kasara-Shahpur-Murbad-Saralgaon-Malshej. From Mumbai Side, on NH-3, Kalayan-Murbad-Saralgaon-Malshej. We recently visited both Kasara and Malshej ghat from Ahmedabad, GUJ. We were lucky that, on the day of our trip we were welcomed by heavy rainfall and dense fog at camel valley-Kasara and Malshej ghat.
