What a great time to be a chiefs fan, I moved here in 1983 and became an instant chiefs fan. We've sat through some disappointing seasons and the last five years sure makes up for it...

I don’t go by ring count because that takes a whole team. I go by what I see physically with my own eyes and Mahomes is the GOAT. I’ve seen every Super Bowl and have never seen anyone with that much talent. Physically, mentally, and with so much heart.

He has the official greatest start to the quarterback position in NFL history. We will have to wait-and-see what it looks like at the end of his career with that said, this is hands-down, the craziest territory to ever be in as a Chiefs fan. The years of heartache and being the lovable losers is over, we are witnessing greatness and I’m here for every second of it. Go Chiefs.

I so agree. It was so hard watching the Chiefs with their loaded SB caliber teams in the 90s not get to the SB because their offenses weren’t good enough and quarterback play was just atrocious. Offense wasn’t good enough to match the defense. 1997 was the closest I saw and Rich Gannon should have been the quarterback in the postseason.
@derekmathews1557 What about the Vermeil era team? The Chiefs had the #1 offense with a stud-laden offensive line and running game that will never be duplicated with Priest Holmes/Tony Richardson leading the way. Plus Tony Gonzalez and Dante Hall. Except the defense was dead last in the league mainly due to the secondary. 2003 was absolutely heartbreaking!
I agree. I started following the Chiefs in the '90s. The '93 AFC Championship loss really hurt, and from then on, the QB play was disappointing.
@@TheRealcdawg22 vermeil era was fun to watch but having NO defense was brutal. 93 was the year for me as well. Montana and D Thomas were my two favorite players.
Mahomes is the best player to play QB ever. Mahomes exists in time. It takes a special kind of person to say someone else is the greatest qb of all time.

Also they looked for every loophole in the NFL rules and then exploited them over and over and each time the rule loophole would be closed and then they would just find another one to exploit, and some people will say "That's just smart" but the truth is its scummy and if they were SO good why did they need to do that over and over that obviously gives an unfair advantage? Not to mention the deflating footballs and pretending Brady wouldn't notice a football that is deflated that much when any football player (especially a QB) would notice immediately. All that is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the controversy around Belichick and Brady. Also, Brady's teammates do not get NEARLY enough credit, the way they talk is like Brady did it all by himself when 90% of his career he had a VERY good O-line with future HOFer's and Pro-Bowlers all over the place, and their defense was monsterous at least 85-90% of the time when he had success, especially when getting to or winning the SB. One last fact is that Brady actually had better stats and rating during the regular season compared to the playoffs the majority of his career his stats and ratings actually significantly dropped during the playoffs which left his amazing team to pick up the slack but Patrick's stats get better and he becomes much more clutch and scary during the playoffs. It's also RIDICULOUS that they judge who is the GOAT QB by SB rings when SB's are won by a complete TEAM effort, when the much better way to compare QB's is through all the different stats, and their are A LOT of stats that unequivocally say that so far in just about every way, Mahomes is superior to every QB to ever play the game, including Brady like you just demonstrated with those CRAZY stats in his first 7 years compared to Brady's first 7 years, its not even close, 66TD and 18,000 yards for Brady vs 219 TD's and 28,000 yards for Mahomes in the same amount of time at the same part of their careers. It's completely a blowout so far.

@@Ormmilli Burrow is very good when he isn't injuried, but he also was on a rookie contract with Jamar Chase and Tee Higgins all at the same time, so they had a ton of cap space because of that, but they did nothing with that golden opportunity.
Not many QB's get 2 WR 1 caliber players on rookie contracts while they are still on their rookie contract too. But now they gotta pay Burrow, and Higgins much more and Chase a ton when his 5th year option runs out next year.
Also, the fact that he is becoming quite injury prone isn't good. He has injuried his throwing arm or hand 4 times, and that is just that arm, just look at his injury list since he joined the NFL, it's longer than some veteran or even retired starting QB's.

Great video! All I can say is that I, like you, am amazed by his many times unbelievable plays and at the top of that mountain for me is what he accomplished in the playoffs 2 seasons ago with a pretty severe injury after getting wedged and twisted by 3 Titans defenders. He not only came out of the room after being examined but went back into the game and led them to victory game after game after game, without his leading WR Tyreek Hill forthe 2022 season, including getting thrown into the Bengal's bench in the AFC Championship game inJan 2023 that led to the winning field goal and later the 2023 Super Bowl against the Eagles that featured his historic 20+ yard rushing attempt. That's why he's an another level that higher than anyone we've ever seen before. Simply amazing and Bret Veach somehow saw it and sold the farm to land him, go Chiefs!!

Fully agree. Mahomes isn't the GOAT yet because he needs to sustain this success for more than 6 years (his FIRST 6 which is insane) to match Brady, because one of the things that makes Brady the GOAT is the fact that he did it for as long as he did. That said, Mahomes is easily more talented than Brady because While Mahomes can make every play Brady can make, Mahomes makes plays that Brady could never dream of making because Mahomes is a lot more athletic than Brady ever was. The scary thing is Mahomes is starting to get closer and closer to mastering the mental aspect of the game on the same level as Brady and Manning did. If he can do that with his freak athleticism he can definitely get close to Brady's 7 rings and will obliterate every passing record there is.
Mahomes is the 🐐, brady never won a SB without a great defense and only got caught 3 times cheating.

Mahomes/Chiefs have been able to win championships even with Mahomes being off his rookie deal. Also, unpopular opinion but Brett Veach is more important to the rest of Mahomes career than anyone else (including Kelce and Reid).

It’s sort of a cheap shot that you go out of your way to mention that Mahomes has 3 SB MVP while not mentioning that during the same period Brady won 2 the way it is being brought up it sounds more like Mahomes has 3 SB MVP while Brady has 0. Which is not a correct representation of reality. I know that you dedicate a lot of time into making those videos but it would be nice that you would allocate more time in QC of the content to make sure that you have a fair and accurate representation of the accomplishments of both parties and not just one of them
