​@@bal6441Nah, guaranteed he was just buffering. At a high enough level part a huge part of the neutral game becomes throwing out a normal and buffering your super during the active frames. If it whiffs nothing happens. If it's blocked or hit: it cancels into super. Obv that means if your opponent blocks you're gonna have a bad time: but part of footsies/neutral is only doing that at a range where you will catch your opponent throwing out a normal of their own and/or dashing up.
