Enjoyed this very much. I too like to kind of build around or in to or with.... you know, the terrain. I love that you have terrain on the inside. I don't know why I haven't but I'm definitely going to have some nature on the inside now. And the water on the inside... almost like a.. I don't know like a chemical bath or something.. pretty cool. At some point I probably have to steal the thing where the water extractor is down in like a well-situation, with the taller foundations boxing it in. That was cool. A'ight, Skully. Bones out.
Ha, yeah if I had more terrain-sculpting control I'd honestly probably have a lot less indoor nature but it's pretty unavoidable in this area (at least with the kind of builds I want to make). I've made peace with it though -- honestly it's kind of a fun puzzle trying to work around it and keep it clear which areas are for pioneers & which are still a bit 'wild.' Glad you liked the video. I've made a couple more since this one & more will be coming.
Well hello again! I think I might remember you. I think you helped save my mountain base from air attacks with some sage advice about workbenches. Thanks! With mistlands right around the corner I'm thinking it might be time to reinstall that game & check it out.
Yes, building a factory on hilly terrain brings a few additional problems. On the one hand you don't want to build a "flying" factory, on the other hand you might create a lot of dead space just for the foundation... For me, this resulted in building several smaller factories in the forest. Your approach looks very nice, as always!
Any chance you could consider making your save available? My beginning is always a flying spaghetti mess and I would love to tour your starter factories for inspiration and maybe use them as a starting point to expand. Fantastic work, very beautiful build by the way!

I came here from your Reddit thread.. and boy, i wasnt disappointed.. this is stunning both inside and out
Looks really beautiful. I don't have the creative spark you do I'm a little envious.
Awesome job as always Skully, the way you used the terrain in the northern forest to drive your build is inspiring.
I love the way you build
Very inspiring. Now I want to start a new build and try to improve it. Beautiful.
I used to watch all your Valheim builds, and I'm stoked you're doing Satisfactory now! I hadn't realized until now.

I'll definitely do that at some point...things are a bit too messy at the moment. Embarassing. :)
I'll post it on this channel when I do.
Good work! 👍👍
Real world build style. What's your work background ?
I love your work!
